I think the case demonstrates that a woman does indeed have the right to go topless at least in New York. However, I would state that given the nature of men and society in general, it would be unwise. People are going to stare and probably make a few comments so I could see some problems in the immediate future. So, while it may be a woman's right, it might also be tantamount to baiting someone to do or say something that is beyond their rights.

Yes, a woman's body is just as beautiful as a man's. However, I personally think there is a time and place for everything. Walking around in NY topless is neither the time nor the place. Speaking for myself, I do not want to see a half-naked woman walking around a public place. Now, if I was on a nude beach somewhere then I can reasonably assume that there will be nudity.

Honestly, I have no desire to walk around topless but if others do then I'm glad they can do so legally. Most women I know would agree, being shirtless is an open invitation to ogling and though I'm certainly not ashamed of my body my husband is the only one I want to share all my body parts with visually or physically.

As a kid I grow up in Laos and I saw many Hmong women bath without a shirt on. There was never a problem other than the US recruiting 14 year olds to fight for the US army during the Vietname war.

can you possibly imagine the back log of law suits brought on by women who would be screaming "sexual harassment" because of the amount of male attention they would get from going topless.

Actually, she can. That's why she won against the city. She is legally allowed to go topless.

She should.
Not because men are allowed but because it's her right. It's a question of civil liberties.

Why would you want that? Then seeing them wouldn't be a big deal.
