Because the only thing Dems agree on is they hate Bush other than that they can't even agree on the time without going to committee and handing out some pork.

If they could come up with reasonable solutions, they would have. Just like the previous Congress.
They, are playing games with the public too. Making it look like they are desperately trying to accomplish something and being held back by a mean and nasty President. When in reality, they know the solutions they come up with will fail, and be shot down. Makes it look like they are fighting for you. Makes Bush and Republicans look bad. Problem is they aren't accomplishing anything meaningful. This is libel to bite them down the road.
Like all politicians, they promised the world to get there (advertising), but once there, can only move along at the same pace as the people they replace. The new Congress is not a group of super uber politicians that will immediately change the course of history... They are people, just as the last group. Don't expect anything more. And don't expect world peace when Dems are in power, as the media would like you to believe.

A good approval rating for congress is normally around 30% They generally never score highly. Aside from that in order to do anything in the senate you usually need 60 votes and the democrats only have 51 they can really control. Republicans cant start policy anymore but they can block anything they don't like. Democratic supporters feel like the Congress isnt doing what democrats said they would do so they are upset.

This is just an observation so if you are Democrat don't take it personally. Democrats really haven't done anything in Congress since they took over. Pelosi grandstanded about what she got accomplished in the first 100 days. But how much of what got out of the House got through the Senate? They keep getting side tracked trying to score political points for next years election.
Bush has nothing to do with it. Democrats are still shooting themselves in the foot. And just like in 1994, 2000 and 2004 they are going to try to blame it all on Republicans. To me the saddest part is they don't realize who's doing the shooting.

The Democratic congress made too many promises to the American people. How they would lower gas prices, how they would pull our troops out of Iraq, on and on and on. The problem they are not concentrating on souloutions and fullfilling these promises. They are trying to pass bills to increase the taxes hard working American's pay on gas at the pumps, repealing President Bush's tax cuts to Middle Class America, and impeaching President Bush. Come on people wake up, the Democratic Party that was once for the working people is no more. If you want to hold on to your hard earn money and continue to recieve the Bush Tax Cuts that greatly benefitted anyone that works and pays taxes, you might want to switch party's and vote Republican. Oh one more thing if you want gas to hit 5.00 a gallon at the pumps vote for Hillary. We can all ride bicycles to work.....

With left wing liberal loonies running the show, they are in the minority. The vast majority of people in the US do not agree with the policies of Mrs. Pelosi and Mr. Reid. People actually do let their elected representatives know what the people think.
It was obvious with the non-amnesty immigration bill that was pulled.
