At birth?
And, what criteria did you use in making your decision?

I'm taking a poll, yea or nay and comments if you agree or disagree.

The word "LIBERAL" has always had a negative connotation. It does have a positive connotation when you refer to them as being progressive.

The word "CONSERVATIVE", on the other hand had always been favored for reasons I don't understand when it indicates "intransigence" or "obstinate"

It doesn't mean that if a society has always done a procedure a certain way, that it would be the right way, or as most people have phrased it, "This is how we've always done it. " There is more than a dozen ways to skin a cat. After all, "Change is the only thing constant in this world. "

As a Christian, I know a little something about Genesis, too: God created Adam & Eve as adult humans. He did not create them as embryos. God created life, (such as animals), that we generally have no problem killing or eating. An embryo is not a human so how is it any different from that of another animal?

For instance, if there are 5 suicide bombings in Baghdad that kill 100 people & there are pictures of all the carnage is that false reporting or should the media not show those things because it makes Bush look bad & turns more of the US public against the war in Iraq?

How can we rid gay monkeys, birds and insects of their homosexual lifestyle? Obviously they have made wrong choices and need to be saved! It's unnatural!

So many people don't see what America really is. This Place is a joke. What freedom? How can you be free and controlled at the same time? We may be under some corrupted form of democracy, but we are not "Free". There is a law about everything now days. Our for fathers came here to get away from the laws of England...Well it seems to me America has more laws now than England does! Think about it, What can you really do here in America that you don't have to worry about it being against the law? A few non believers have managed to take God out of everything, I thought "the majority rules" was the way? And we "force" our children to pledge the American flag and for what it stands for. What does it stand for?..Well it stands for baby killing, forced government laws, non belief in God, fornication, adultery, pride, and so many other things that are against what Jesus taught. So why would we pass laws to force our children to praise a flag that stands for this? Our nation has become a joke!

My friend shook hands with someone and the person noticed later that the ring was missing. He was then arrested and charged with grand larceny. The ring was later found and positively identified by the owner. HOWEVER, the person is still pressing charges.

I'm not sure if he's still charged with grand larceny since the ring in question has now been found. However, this will go on his permanant record and will affect his possibly future citizenship application.

The person pressing charges was extremely agressive throughout the encounter and verbally harrassed my friend's brother and coworkers. The person also threathened to kill my friend if the ring was not found not only once but twice. A harrassment complaint was filed with the police so it's been documented. Everything happened inside a restaurant so there are a number of witnesse

I'm curious as to why all these people screaming liberal bias in media haven't gone into journalism and fixed it for themselves? After all it is equal opportunity in America, isn't it? There are plenty of fantastic journalism schools, many of them state schools. All it takes is a bit of hard work and education to get into journalism. Why aren't all these conservatives who complain migrating toward these careers to change it?

Based on the nature of the probation violation that she's guilty of, most people would have only received 2 or 3 days in jail - so I've heard. They gave her 45, and they kept bouncing her in and out of jail, which must have been very dificult for her. It was almost like psychological torture. Was her sentence and her treatment unduly harsh? The legal system might have been resentful of her because of her wealth, fame, beauty, and success. Everyone loves her and hates her at the same time, and I'm wondering if they just saw this as their opportunity to get her.

PS - This is my second time asking this question. I wanted to get as many responses as possible. :)

PSS - Serious responses only. Thank you.

I was driving down a street and ahead of me I saw two (not police Regular) cars blocking up the street, I backed up a lil and went down the next street. When I got to the corner there was a police car in front of me and one behind me. I know for sure the one in front pulled his gun and pointed it at me through my windshield. he told me "put your hands up and turn off the car". I was scared and did not know what I did. I still had my hands up and he told me to turn off the car. I did and another officer came up to me atthe side and simply asked for my license and insurance. I gave him the license but couldn't find the insurance card so I asked him if he could look it up (yes I do have insurance). A asked what I did and they told me the other street had a road block, I didn't know It just looked like people blocking the street talking. They had no lights on, no officer was in the street and the cars ahead were blocking me.
Q: What are my rights, they didn't even apoligize.
