As a Christian, I know a little something about Genesis, too: God created Adam & Eve as adult humans. He did not create them as embryos. God created life, (such as animals), that we generally have no problem killing or eating. An embryo is not a human so how is it any different from that of another animal?

A human? How is it a human? What traits makes one a human?
"Life" begins at inception; science validates this. However, I believe that it is not until the fetus is fully formed that it becomes what we can most closely define as "human" ; as such, I do not see abortions (which can only be performed up until the 1st trimester in the U.S.A.) as a "mass holocaust" as some irrational people do. We kill tons of animals every day for food--is that a holocaust? That argument is just illogical.

Animal: so you need a human body to be known by God?

What is "human" cannot be defined!
Trust me, philosophers have been trying for centuries. Wanna take a crack at it? Be my guest. Your list will never be complete and will undoubtedly encounter holes.

Why are there different Christian denominations? Because each interprets the Bible in their own way.

The bible says A LOT of things, and it contridicts itself along the way on many occasions. Just as you have done in this question... You say an embryo is NOT a human and then later you write that you can NOT define a human... So which is it???
The opinion of Abortion is based of Emotions, There is No factual evidence to support either sides argument. It becomes a matter of what you are willing to accept in your life and what your not.. Some people think you shouldn't be irresponsible and create life only to kill it. Others think it abortion will help reduce the amount of unwanted children... Well they are both right, but what's the less of 2 evils is the question to be answered... Is it wrong to have sex and create life out nothing more than pleasure and to have the choice to terminate your mistake, or Is it wrong to make women have children and face their decisions? I say let everyone make their own decision and when we die and find out if there is truly a GOD or not and if he truly judges us all by our actions, then we will know weather our decisions on earth have gained us a place in Heaven... Who are we to judge what is right and wrong when it comes to the LIfe cycle... Hell God himself has sentenced us to death, NO ONE is immortal so we will all die at the hands of our creator... Why is abortion any different.. IF it weren't meant to be then he wouldn't have given us FREE WILL and the power to CHOOSE.

because most christians use god to defend everything they do. there are some who don't. I myself would never have an abortion because I personally don't believe in it and because I believe you have to take responsibility for your own actions but I also believe that everyone has the right to make their own decision it's their body and their decision to live with. but I do disagree that a human embryo is not human, it is of the human species so I feel like that makes it a human. just like a dogs embryo is a puppy. it is different from any other animal because it has the genetic make up of a human not a dog or a cat. I think christians using god as their only defense against something and pushing it down people throats has turned a lot of people away from the church. I grew up in the baptist church in the south and now pretty much anything the church is against I am for, simply because they carry things to far. sorry I got off the subject at hand.

I think it's wrong to use God against abortion. Simply because religious beliefs should not be mixed with policy. Preaching religion to non-believes will get you nowhere, in fact they'll probably turn against whatever you say.
I can do this with science: Life begins at conception. At the moment you are conceived, the atoms and cells that constitute you are set in motion to become a human. This is when life starts. If you interfere with this process by manually destroying these cells (fetus, zygote, whatever) you are essentially killing that living thing. No, it isn't walking, talking or paying taxes, but neither is a 1 year old. Would you bludgeon a 1 year old to death just because it can't walk, talk or make it's own decision, and you didn't want it around?

God created Humans, he created them so that we could reproduce ~ in a similar fashion to all mammals. A HUMAN embryo WILL be a human. An animal embryo will never be human, it Will be an animal. Animals are not self aware, and they were given to us (humans) 1. to take care of, and 2. to eat (after Adam and Eve got kicked out of the garden).
Life begins at conception because GOD puts you together, God knows you in the womb... ending that life is murder.
I personally think killing unborn animals is also a disgusting act.

"An embryo is not a human so how is it any different from that of another animal? "
I was with you right up until that statement. Who made you the authority to decide that an embryo is not human? What about the scriptures that say things like, "I did knit you together in your mother's womb" or "Before you were born, I knew you", or "Children are a blessing from the Lord".
Seems to me that I can pull out more scripture to defend a position against abortion that I can to defend one for it.

Are you insane? An embryo (I hate that term) is indeed a human created by God. Just not fully developed yet. If you truly wish to see what an "embryo" is fully capable of doing while within the mother's womb, then PLEASE check these websites out.

And, if you are truly a Christian the way you say you are, then please meditate on these words from the Bible.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart..."
(Jeremiah 1:5)
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
(Psalm 139:13-16)

That is awesome how you can define life, and therefore decide when to take it. I guess since God created them as adult humans, no one is alive until they are adults. We should be able to kill at will until they are 18. And to the genious who says you have to be breathing to be alive, and therefore a heartbeat is not a sign of life, we can kill anybody who swims under water, or holds their breath for some reason. They aren't alive. Kill 'em all, and let God sort 'em out, right?

It is hard to use reason or logic with someone who says this:
"An embryo is not a human so how is it any different from that of another animal? "
You are equating Human embryos to animals, and comparing abortions to eating a hamburger.....
How can you expect to get a reasonable response when you make really far-out statements like that?

I just talked to God. He says you weren't there when he created Adam and Eve so how do you know in what form he created them. He says it's a secret, for us to figure it out.
He did mention that he gave us Animals to eat, and fruit, and nuts, and he said he did a good job on the tomato, a fruit or vegetable.
He was also a little disappointed we all don't get along better.

If you wish to kill your children so be it. You like everyone else will knell and bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, they you will hear him say
" depart from me you worker of iniquity, I never knew you," and at that same time you will realize how it grieved a Loving God to see his children slaughtered for convenience. To compare a human child to an animal, is far worse than what the pagans do, far worse.
