This is my take on the anti-immigration people: There are certain characteristics that mark an individual that is fervently anti-immigrant (they will insist 'anti-illegal'). That is: fear, intolerance, worry, and selfishness. I say that because only such an individual would fret about some impending doom as a result of letting people come here undocumented (which they have been doing for more than a century) to work for low wages in jobs that are hard to fill. They have to be so afraid that a small group of mostly illiterate, uneducated people will somehow be able to tip the balance of power and turn this country into a third world crackhouse (which, by the way, is a very arrogant and ignorant claim). Only a person that was secure in themselves and did not have a "what's in it for me?" attitude could accept people from other countries with an open heart and an open mind - just like it reads on the Statue of the Liberty. Ask yourself, what would Martin Luther King or Ghandi say?

This is in regard to a book about the building of a fireproof farmhouse, built in 1907. It was published in 1913 by a publishing company that is no longer in existence, and the book is out of print. I am part of a community in northern NJ where the building stands and we are celebrating its 100th year. We would like to use the book written about the construction, scanning it and handing it out (possibly selling for a nominal fee) to those attending the celebration. What copyright issues might there be if any? Are there copyright laws that would prohibit us doing this? I also don't believe there are any of the author's /builder's family still alive.

In the middle of ten acres I own I was constructing a house when the state stopped by and asked to see my building permit .
I said I have none and get off my land . He said stop working and I said leave .
He got on a radio and in minutes the police where there and ordered me to stop or I would be arrested .
On my own land working for my own benefit it seems the state takes a major interest and can control what I do .
I said since I must stop working on the house I will clean my shot gun leaning next to me and the police said do not move or we will shoot .
SO I can not work on my house or clean my gun . What is it I can do in police state america anymore .
If i do not do it in secret or private some states have sodomy laws that prevent me from having sex in the manner I might want .
You might be happy in this cage called America and enjoy meddling in others affairs but freedom ended the day property taxes where enacted and its only gotten worse .

Thankfully, Canadian police actually go after criminal illegal aliens vs. America where police are handcuffed by corrupt politicians and are told to provide illegal alien criminals sanctuary and amnesty.

MONTREAL–Police in Montreal say they've foiled a bizarre extortion and murder plot apparently aimed at a couple who pocketed a $27 million lottery jackpot last month.

An 18-year-old Mexican citizen was arrested Monday afternoon in a Montreal neighbourhood and arraigned yesterday for conspiracy to abduct, conspiracy to commit murder and other charges.

Edwin Scarlotte Mata Lima, who arrived in Canada four months ago, is alleged to have planned the murder of Zenovij Pacholuk and Dolores Coffey, winners of the second-largest lottery windfall in Quebec history.

A coworker put herion in her coffee which put her on life support for 2 days. When she returned to work the following week she was discharged for her family calling the police. And just for a hint; the company swears to having the "best always fresh coffee". All the family wanted was criminal justice and the company says her life is worth $15,000 in damages. It goes to court next week and it would be nice for the media to be aware of it.

I thought I'd share this little tidbit with you all:

Finally, a definition of globalization I can understand and to which I can relate.

Question: What is the truest definition of Globalization?

Answer: Princess Diana's death.

Question: How come?

Answer: An English princess with an Egyptian boyfriend crashes in a French tunnel, riding in a German car with a Dutch engine, driven by a Belgian who was drunk on Scottish whisky (check the bottle before you change the spelling), followed closely by Italian Paparazzi on Japanese motorcycles. She was treated by an American doctor using Brazilian medicines.

This is sent to you by an American using Bill Gates's technology, and you're probably reading this on your computer that uses Taiwanese chips and a Korean monitor, was assembled by Bangladeshi workers in a Singapore plant, transported by Indian lorry-drivers, hijacked by Indonesians, unloaded by Sicilian longshoremen, and trucked to you by Mexican illegals.....
