1- When a U.S. president takes office on inauguration day he swears under oath to protect and defend the constitution of the United States of America.
GWB has violated that oath of office. He violated the rights granted to American citizens by the constitution of the USA.
2- He sold the war in Iraq to the American people under false pretenses. He twisted the intelligence to fit his wishes to invade Iraq. An unnecessary war.
3- GWB took a budget surplus in the fiscal year 2000 and converted it in the largest budget deficit in American history.
4- GWB proved incompetency in the Katrina disaster.
5- His foreign policy is also a disaster and he has tainted the reputation of the USA thoughout the world.
History will be merciless to GWB. He will no doubt be remembered as the worst president of the USA.

There have been 2 elections that he won.
The first one had some business in Florida that the Democrats claim was foul, but then he won the second term election.
This means that a majority of the people who vote in America believe either that George Bush is a great President (they re-elected him) or that the Democratic candidate was lousy by comparison. I also think the Democratic Campaights shot themselves in the foot too often and are in denial what they did wrong, so will probably do that again in future elections.
The BALLOT BOX is a far superior poll than anything limited to people hanging out some place on the Internet.

When you consider the incredible pressure on any sitting President whether republican or Democrat, and the fact that we have not had another major attack on the USA I would say he is OK. Don't let the media think for you. Being a President must be an awful job, especially when you have the guts to make a stand whether right or wrong. One should remember, we don't see those horrible intelligence reports he sees first thing every day where there are literally thousands of enemy's of America planning bad things for us. I say cut any and all Presidents some slack

I disagree with the one farther above rather harshly. Most of the country says Bush is the worst president ever. How could you say that:
John Adams had The Alien and Sedition Laws, which granted him powers to "arrest virtually anyone who criticized his policies. Andrew Jackson would operate on instinct, if he felt Congress was wrong he would use his powers to block it. Martin Van Buren was coined "Martin Van Ruin" as president because of the nation's first depression, the Panic of 1837. Andrew Johnson was a racist and heavy-drinker who right after Lincoln's administration vetoed the Congressional Reconstruction, which would punish the Southern whites and allow African Americans to have full citizenship rights. His veto was unsuccessful and would eventually lead to his impeachment. Grant despite being a war hero had a corrupt and unqualified cabinet consisting of former military friends and politicans. Woodrow Wilson campaigned for his second term that he would not put the U.S. into World War I and he lied, and did. Harding was immensely popular in his presidency despite the large amounts of corruption and scandals in his administration. Coolidge did nothing to prevent the Great Depression despite stock problems and did few things in office. Hoover would do few things to prevent the ongoing problem of the Great Depression of 1929. Truman lost his popularity and had paper cups thrown at him when he fired General MacArthur, WWII war hero. Eisenhower is shown as a 'do-nothing' president. Lyndon Johnson going into the Vietnam War would cause social and economic problems throughout the U.S.. Nixon's administration was pumbled by the infamous Watergate scandal. "Carter's presidency is rated as one of the ten worst in U.S. history, and he is often described as an ineffective and miserable president." He is known for mishandling the Iranian hostage crisis and putting the inflation and interest rates at record highs. Clinton would cause a scandal and trial that would show his personal flaws.
You must understand that Bush like many other presidents is criticized during warfare. And like many, his beliefs are not shared by the entire country. He is far from the worst president considering he has accomplished a lot throughout his administration to get the U.S. through the 9-11 disaster like Franklin D. Roosevelt getting us through the Pearl Harbor massacre.

By now, only idiots think Bush is a good president, as for me I was with Jesse Jackson in 2000, "America stay out of the Bushes." No one listened and the now everything is run by corrupt incompetent boobs. I'm not just talking about Bush I'm taking about everyone he brought into power with him.

Absolutely the worst of all. It's all about the oil business to him.
Kinda funny we end up in a war with Iraq, what happens to the war on Terrorism with Afghanistan? hmmm
And to think, Vice President Cheney happens to own Haliburton...One Big Plan, and so many are blind to it!!
If there were a shortage of gasoline, they would issue ration cards like they did in the past.
America is becoming cooperate run. This is what happens when all the big guys, ie. Gas Companies, merge together. There is no competition, therefore, they can charge us whatever they want. And Bush backs the oil men, he is one!!

I think Bush is a great president for the military, the companies that make weapons and the oil industry. All others have bad luck.

I think he has been great against terrorists and choosing supreme court justices who will support the constitution vs their own agenda. But Bush has done great damage to the country with his Socialist agenda. He has spent much more money than we have on entitlement programs for farmers, drugs for seniors, etc, etc. He is a supporter of defecits that others will have to pay off after him. Government has increased 30% under his watch and this means less freedom and a weaker economy for us all. Also, his Soviet style push to centralize education in No Child Left Behind has severly damaged our education system. My wife is a school teacher and now she much do much more paperwork and teach less, and name many more kids "special ed" to meet Bush's agenda. Now we have much less innovation in schools and freedom to train kids to think for themselves. We will in turn see much less innovation in business and there will be much less wealth in the US, as Bush forces the US to conform to Socialist European standards
