First she refuses to admit she was wrong to vote for authorizing the war. She still won't admit it, and now she doesn't even support setting a troop withdrawal date, which got her booed by a group of liberal Democrats

Why is Hillary, who conservatives often incorrectly label as a socialist, so conservative when it comes to the Iraq War? And how does she have so much support among Democrats even though the majority disagree with her stance on this critical issue?

The “authorization to use force has run its course, and it is time to reverse the failed policies of President Bush and to end this war as soon as possible.” She added, “If the president will not bring himself to accept reality, it is time for Congress to bring reality to him.”

^ Hillary Clinton has a remarkable way of changing her opinions in front of a public audience and escaping from scrutiny over her decision to vote on the War Resolution.

Do I think she's a hypocrite for saying that its in our best interest to stay in Iraq after calling for a deauthorization? No. I think she does want to end this war but with a different approach from Harry Reid and liberal Democrats. Obviously more than 60% of the public don't support the war but they also don't want the political infrastructure in Iraq to collapse giving way to a resurgence of explosive violence

Well, here's the way I, and a lot of people see it.

She voted for the resolution, and she expected Bush to follow it's requirements - which included UN approval and exhausting diplomacy before attacking Iraq. He did neither. Then she began to see, just like so many of us, that Bush had no exit plan and no plan for the aftermath. She began to complain about him sending troops over there without the proper equipment and his failure to have a plan in place to deal with the aftermath. She doesn't regret giving him the authorization, she regrets falling for the lies we were ALL told to stand up and cheer this invasion. Yes, she had the same info as the President, but what she, and all of us, didn't have was the information the White House held back that they knew the yellow cake story was bogus.

She doesn't want to set a date because she knows that is unrealistic and counterproductive. She understands that we'll need to leave a presence in Iraq to deal with Al Queda, guard the borders, keep Iran out and keep helping to train the Iraqi military. The far left liberals don't want to hear any of that. They want out now, completely, no residual troops at all. That's why most of them back Obama right now. She has the support because there are more of us who understand the realities of Iraq rather than leaning so far left we expect complete withdrawal.

I guess that is what happens when you are a republican wearing democrat clothing.

But no, seriously, there is nothing wrong with thinking we should have never invaded Iraq, while at the same time thinking that since Bush already got us stuck there, its time to play things by ear, and figure out the best way to resolve the issue with the least amount of casualties and chaos.
Anyone who thinks she continuously changes her opinion, really needs to learn how public speaking works.

Then - "i'm going to vote for it through fact it rather is common with the yankee public and that's going to be an person-friendly conflict." Now - "If i'd have commonplace it grow to be going to be this stressful and unpopular, then i does no longer have voted for it. as properly I actually have a marketing campaign to run and the polls are what's going to make me win."

She is a Socialist, and she's also an opportunist, like most politicians. She jumped on the let's go to war bandwagon when it was popular, but now tries to distance herself and call it Bush's war when she voted for military action. It illustrates that she's no leader - she just tries to be on the winning side so that she can benefit politically. At least Obama didn't vote for the war and still has the same opinion. At least Obama has some leadership qualities, unlike Billary.

Hillary Clinton is a corporate owned whore

the Iraq War is a giant corporate crime being committed under the guise of patriotism and fighting terrorism

People wonder why she doesn't want the troops pulled out now ?

Every day of death & destruction for American soldiers and Iraqi civilians is another day of precious plunder and profits for Hillary's corporate masters

Not just conservatives call her a socialist both sides do, and she is. She doesn't have the support from Democrats that she thought she would have, so she is saying whatever it takes to get votes, typical political tactic.

She changed her stance in one week.
Last week she said "the war is bush's fault and that we should have never gone there"
This week she said "The USA has already won the war in Iraq and we should get out"..
Next week- she will copy what bill did and look at whatever polls she wants to do whatever necessary to get into office.

Any way the wind blows, there goes Hillary.

Look, in case you have NOT noticed, she IS a politician.
She (like every other elected official, either Rep. or Dem.) goes where the votes are.
