I don't think we need another actor to be a PR man for corporate America.

Source: Personal experience. What do I have? I carry my ACLU Card with me at all times. Anytime I get a Neocon who gets into my face I pull out my ACLU card and they scream and run. What should we do? Give all the troops ACLU cards and have the troops (Soldiers) show their cards to the insurgents. The Insurgents (If they are like the Republicans...Neocons..) will scream and run. The troops will be safe. God bless the ACLU and God Bless the USA

"do unto others as you would have done to you"
-liberal in its very tone if there ever was such a thing.

Before you go reacting with the same "both sides do it" BS consider this:
When was the last time you saw a petulant liberal basher, who obviously doesnt even know what the word "liberal" means rise to the caliber of speaking in a way he would wish to be spoken to?

I ask this because I want to see if these paper tiger conservatives have the fortitude to admit they use this site to indulge in verbal abuse, as they obviously do.

PS: I disagree strongly with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson on their reverse racism, et al.

I'm an American, but I sometimes get the chance to watch the BBC World News. I have heard some people claim that the BBC has a left-wing bias. In fact, the archconservative (and Tony Blair supporter) Rupert Murdoch once complained of this to Tony Blair. That being said, though, one should also remember the fact that Rupert Murdoch is also the owner of FOX, The Sun, and The Times, which all certainly have a right-wing bias. I want a British perspective, though. What do YOU think?

I heard a while ago that people tend to belong to the same political party as their parents. It makes sense to me.

My mother is and has always been a democratic, my father is and always has been a republician, I am an Independent I guess a blending of the two.

Just wondering if people are complaining about not having coverage when what they real mean is that the none working family members have none .
Remember that you have to be contributing and working to have anything .
Family problems often lead to poor productivity on the job . Your spouse can be cause for emotional stress reducing productivity at work . Single workers are much more efficient and men more so then women who need days off to deal with medical issues of abortion or vaginal problems with stds and reproductive issues raising employer provided insurance costs .
SO when women in the work place complain about men receiving hire pay it is because they are more productive and have fewer medical needs . Before you women go nuts be honest . In determining pay should I consider the cost of medical care for women verses men on a purely financial bases .Admit it cost an employer much more for women then men . SO its not that you are not getting equal pay , your paying your way.

My friend and coworker is a good father. He has two kids who he has every other weekend. He makes $11 an hour, works 40 hours of hard work, and he pays 650 a month plus medical insurance for the kids. Thats $40 a week. He's working a second job just to afford to have his kids. I think its unfair.

The painting will be sold for profit and looks very much like the original image. Does a painting count as a derivative work, as it is not technically using the original image?

the point of that was that the President was given the same intel from the CIA and that Congress has to approve the war, so they are as much as fault and need to stop being hypocrites with a my sh!it don't stink attitude.

People obviously do not know how government works.

My association with Ron Paul comes from having volunteered a LOT of time in his Congressional campaigns from 1996, when he won a seat in Congress in a district adjacent to the one in Houston that he represented into the mid '80s (and was strongly opposed by the Republican Party establishment), thru probably the 2000 election. He can run much more limited campaigns these days because he has little opposition ... odd, don't you think, since he's winning while holding positions that other candidates claim that they can't win with.

While working in those campaigns and riding along on other trips throughout his very large district from time to time, I had plenty of chances to discuss issues with him and can state with absolute certainty that he lives and breathes the philosophy of freedom. He IS authentic. He did not run for office so he'd have a good paying and/or high profile job ... he ran so that he'd have a larger platform from which to articulate the message of individual liberty.

All the media talks about him. He appears in the polls. Over 92,000 web surfers have asked for him to run (http://www.draftgore.com).

With all of this unsolicited support, what do you think are the chances Al Gore will listen to the people and decide to run for president in 2008?

Every time I watch a balanced, argumentative news show(ex: Hannity & Colmes) the liberals go haywire when there is a discussion about Giuliani. They always say how he can't win because he's too liberal, and how he wouldn't be a good president. Do they treat all liberal republicans like this or is Giuliani different?
