No!! That mindless idiot has no chance of doing anything but drowning in his sleep in a puddle of his own drool. Why would any liberal be scared of that wanna-be presidential candidate?

I am amazed that the holier than God Itself Republicans can support a classless adulterer like Giuliani after the fuss they made about Bill Clinton. The concept of principle in public debate must be dead.
Rude Rudy brought his mistress to Gracie mansion and boffed her in the bed next to his daughter's room. If the blue dress incident was so bad, how can the GOP countenance a candidate who was repeatedly and shamelessly unfaithful?
I doubt the liberals are frightened by Giuliani. They must be licking their chops and waiting for a little payback.
Even were he morally acceptable, what has the man done to show his fitness for the job? Before 9/11 he was a discredited mayor who was not reelectable in his own city. Without Osama, he would be nobody today.
If he does get the nomination he will probably get to run against Clinton, who he was reluctant to challenge for the Senate. Irony is a lot of fun.

Well the problem is you are not watching a balanced news show. If you want to watch a balanced news show with legitmate conservative (ex: George Will) and liberal (ex: Ariana Huffington) commentators discussing their points of view watch This Week on ABC. Hannity and Colmes is a joke. As for Giuliani no one is particularly scared of him in a political sense because he has no real chance of taking the Republican Primary.

I don't think Rudy has any real chance of winning. His political capital from handling 9/11 has expired and he's far too liberal to win over conservative Republicans - especially social conservatives. I doubt he emerges from the primaries any higher than 3rd or 4th.
While I am not a Democrat (I don't register with a party), I tend to be on the liberal side of most issues. When I look at all the potential candidates from both parties, right now John McCain would be my #1 or #2 choice. And the Democrats should fear him winning the Republican nomination because he is the one Republican likely to draw Democrat votes in the general election.

Yes... they're scared of Rudy. So are conservative republicans. Anyone with a brain and a pulse should be scared of this charlatan.
Rudy's only claim to fame is he was "in New York" when the 9/11 attacks happened. Prior to that, his biggest achievements included having jaywalkers arrested, preventing firefighters and police from finishing remains recovery at the World Trade Center site, advocating greater immigration. He approves of spying on Americans. He isn't capable of connecting 50 years of American foreign policy with the reactions of countries we've attacked. He thinks we should ignore the Constitution in the name of the "war on terrorism".
Giuliani would be a thug in the form of Josef Stalin.

Giuliani has a lot more opposition to worry about from his *own* party as opposed to liberals. Even over at the freerepublic, people who support Giuliani are being purged from the member rolls.

Your first error, Hannity & Colmes is a political show not a news program. Secondly, liberals go crazy because someone like Guiliani shows what type of President we should have. A "moderate" social and "conservative" fiscal leader

Ooooh. You watch that channel ... no wonder you don't know your real-real from your NeoCon-real.
Look, let me tell you something you probably won't believe (not having heard it from Der Fuhrer on FoxNews), but we liberal-minded folk would absolutely love for Rudy-doody to win the GOP nomination.
Rude Rudy is carrying around this HUGE target that is political death for anyone seeking the support of conservatives: his sex life. X
Yeppers, Rudy's a slavering wolfdog with the moral fiber of Bill Clinton combined with the brilliance of Dan Quayle and the winning smile of a pitbull.
Now, Mitt Romney might stand a chance, or Fred Thompson (say, what a novel idea ... a Republican actor for president!), but Rudy Giuliani? Please. Gimme a break here!
Now, don't ever say I never gave you anything nice.

all of us has different labels for human beings. Hell there are democrats calling Hillary a reasonable for God's sake. Rudy is liberal to many Republicans yet reasonable to others. His contribution might very well be centred on financial accountability which he's greater suitable at then Bush.

They're not scared of him. They're mainly scared that Hillary is their front runner and will not get much support from moderates or undecided voters.
The GOP has the problem that the Dems have. None of their candidates generate any excitement except for Fred Thompson who hasn't announced yet.
The Dems are really scared of Bloomberg who is a Democrat who became Republican just to run for mayor of New York and is now independent. He will syphon off Hillary's support in New York and take many moderate Democrats with him who don't like the slide to the left that their part has taken.

First off, if Hannity and Colmes is what you call "balanced" that is a little odd. But mostly Giuliani is scary because he seemed to get rid of the homeless in NY, but no one knows what happened to them. Also, he looks like that Muppet who sat in the balcony and yelled all the time.
