Why would anybody want to do that? Porn is good for some but bad for others if you don't want to watch it then don't watch it. Should we ban all churches and just listen to the Government? People should not be allowed to tell anyone what and how they can do things. That was the great thing about America the right to choose although we don't get that right anymore on most issues. Too many people Too many problems.

I guess certain things should be banned, like private ownership of ICBM's. But I think we go too crazy with banning things, as if banning things makes them go away. We banned crystal-meth and heroin, and they've just gone away and are no longer a problem right?
I'm all for regulation rather than banning of many of these things. You know, keep it away from children and such. Banning things gives them a forbidden aspect making them more attractive to people. It opens a black market and then gangs, organized crime and terrorism can be financed. Everytime we ban something we take one more step away from being a free country to a do whatever you want to do as long as we approve of it country.

No I do not think porn should be banned because that will violate the freedom of speech. On the other hand it should be heavily regulated by the government so children would not have access to it.

To ban something, you need to define it with specificity. What is "porn"? Not even Supreme Court Justice Stewart could define it. You might end up banning things with redeeming social, cultural, or educational importance. And even if it has none of these, if somebody wants it and enjoys it, who are you to deny it to them, to run their life for them? Can I take away your religion, in the pretext that it is a menace to society?

No, but it needs to be more tightly controlled. Thousands of people are forced into sex slavery, or coerced into making pornography when they are too young or vulnerable to make an informed decision.
There is nothing wrong with being aroused by sexual images, but people should give more thought to how these images have been created.
