Just another Republican making a parting statement to the American people and the GOP. There are Republicans distancing themselves from the Bush Administration daily the closer it gets to the 08 elections. Last Republican debates showed several candidates didn't support the Bush agendas then.

His attempt to buy the presidency will only cause more divisions in this country. The time has come for the people to find some candidate that does not have a negative history. Too bad Obama is too inexperienced. I think in 2012 or 2016 He has a great chance at making the oval office His new home.

Well, he's finished himself as a serious candidate by letting his ego get ahead of him. He could have waited and gotten the Rep. nomination in 2012. People outside of NY don't realize that Bloomy would wipe out Giuliani if they ran head-to-head for mayor. That's how popular he is here now. Instead, by trying to push himself as an independent, he's finished.

Not a big fan of his and this back in forth in parties does not show me anything. He always was a Democrat and just went to Republicans because he could not get dem nod for mayor. Now he wants to say he is independent. He is a liberal Dem.

I live in the NY area. He's done some good things and some dumb things, but all in all he's been a decent mayor. NY has done much worse. in my lifetime.

Bloomberg for President? I think he's on an ego trip, and has very little to offer.

I think he'd be an excellent choice... if the only other options were Adolph Hitler and Josef Stalin.

But if "None of the Above" was an option, I'd take that.

I see this as potentially hurting Hillary much more than hurting the Republican nominee (assuming it is Fred Thompson)....so I support it. 8)

I would of course never vote for the man, nor support him, but if he can help the Republicans win...more power to him.

Don't you all find it kind of crazy that so many people want to be President? That is not where the real problem is. It is Congress. That is where changes need to be made.

I don't.

He's purely in favor of big business. Manhattan became an exclusive community under his leadership.
