I think they've overdosed on Rush Limbaugh.

They have a totally inaccurate, strawman notion of Liberals that they proceed to knock over. Since it's not connected to reality, they end up accomplishing nothing.

To them, a Liberal is someone:

-- Who hates America and wants to destroy it.
-- Who identifies with Islamic radicals and wants to surrender to them.
-- Who is lazy and doesn't want to work-- just collect highly-lucrative welfare.
-- Who is "dirty"-- there's a Kindergarten insult!
-- Who is a secret Commie.
-- Who takes a lot of illegal drugs (Like Rush Limbaugh?)

Liberals-- does the preceding describe you or anyone you know? Of course not.

It's sad that some people have chosen not to deal with reality, but instead create a fantasy that makes them upset. I think they're only happy when they're miserable.

I don't want anyone calling me racist, I know that what Don Imus said was terrible, but atleast he apologized for it, which was all he could do. But why hasn't Al Sharpton apologized to the Duke lacrosse players? He called them rapist and wanted them thrown in jail but they were innocent. Don't you think he should apologize to the players? He says he believes in equal righst, and if he does he should apologize.

No wonder troop morale is at an all-time low. Bush is forcing our millitary to deploy our troops to the breaking point. Not even in WW2 did our soldiers spend so much time in combat zones without breaks.

I'm wondering with the all speculation - is Al Gore going to run or are people just speculating? He is losing weight apparently, and he isn't telling people looking to draft him to stop, and it seems the field doesn't have a clear front runner on either side - in some ways he's the default front runner without even running. As an American, I live in a country in which the death penalty is used in many of its states. However, I have reservations about the death penalty, mainly because innocent people have been wrongly executed and imprisoned, and I don't think that we should run the risk of executing innocent people. That being said, though, I also think that there are some people out there who are absolutely worthless and should be done away with. In Britain, Rose West, Dennis Nilsen, and Ian Brady are some good examples. When you consider that tiny, evil element of British society, do you ever wish that you had the death penalty back?

My younger sister works at a daycare that is owned by a church. The do not pay overitme or provide any breaks during the day. She is only 19 and this is her first real job. She asked me if this was okay but I didn't know. At my job if you go over 40 hours in a week you get time and a half for every hour over 40. We also are intitled to a 15 minute break every 4 hours. She works 12 hours a day 5 days a week and 3 hours on Saturdays cleaning. We live in North Carolina. Is this right or is this illegal?
