James R...oh yea have little faith. Hedge Funds are best used by organizations requiring goods for manufacture that could be considered commodity products, but, also goods and services. Classically, a "hedge" is a safety net intended to give price stability to said product. For example, if I buy cocoa in massive amounts, I may hedge next years crop by purchasing futures, or options, to mitigate my risk to rapidly falling, or rising, cocoa prices, to bring my product, price stability.

I finished High School over 20 years ago and went on to the school of hard knocks. I have recently started college after traveling the world for the last 18 years or so so most of my political education comes from my own research (because of my interest in the world today) and my time spent traveling to other countries. Congrats on your MBA hope I too can get my degree but IMO school teaches one how to learn but not what is truth. Teachers and schools have agendas just like politicians but now you should have the edge on finding out what is really true.
