Army says cut off age is 42

The Army is again considering extending the deployment time of our Troops.

My question is would you enlist to shorten the time our Troops have to spend in the sandbox?

I would today even with my previous service time taken off, I'm over the age limit.

Additional Details

Those of us that can pull our weight and are willing should be allowed to do so, whether it be in a office here or just guarding supplies in the sandbox to fighting as long as we can pass muster!

Vet-USAF 44MMS

I'm out of shape also ( not to bad tho ) but working on it just in case, also I'm looking for a contractor job to take me over, have one set up for the first of the year unless something else comes up

I'm not going to disclose my opinion on the matter because I don't want to appear biased. I'm just curious to see how many people strongly back the second amendment, and how many people would prefer to live in a gun-less nation.

From Bruce Smith and the A.P. about the Charleston, S.C. fire that killed nine firefighters: "...flames swept across the warehouse... eventually collapsing the roof in a twisted mass of brown steel." Yet another example of weakened steel leading to a building collapse. Since most of you claim this is impossible then I guess Bush perpetrated this too?

Are we to infer that the outrage about Clinton and the blue dress was mere partisan politics, and that our entire political system was derailed for years so Republicans could score points? Are any of the Republicans out there just a little ashamed of their leaders?

I mean there used to be a time when Osama Bin Laden/Mullah Omar/Zawahiri was Al Qaeda. They were the ones responsible for Sept. 11 and none of them were even in Iraq in their entire lifetimes. Certainly Moqtada Al Sadrs militants which number in the 10's of thousands cant be considered Al Qaeda can they?

The personal income tax only generates enough revenue to pay the interest on the debt. If we had sound economic policies (not one based on foreign borrowing), we wouldn't even need to collect the personal income tax.

Think of the huge interest payments you make on credit cards if you carry a balance. Which is better? To pay it off and not do that any more? Or to continue paying... and paying... and paying... more and more, until you're bankrupt?

For what!?

By the way, Ron Paul is the only candidate proposing this change to the system.

It's the right thing to do...

How many of you have grown so comfortable wearing these economic chains that you will protest against freedom?
