I mean conservative in the libertarian sense--advocacy of absolute freedom of the individual. Freedom to do as you please, so long as your actions do not hurt anyone else. Freedom of opportunity--everyone should have the same opportunity to succeed as everyone else.

First, I think people have different opinions of what a "Conservative" candidate is.

From Websters:
...In politics to preserve what is established.

Now are we talking about the present political situation or the the group that follows the Constitution?

Group #1. Most of the current Republican candidates will call themselves conservatives....Which simply means "Stay the course we're on now".
Should I make a list of the present policies that people don't agree with?

Group #2. Where as Ron Paul is a conservative because he believes that conservative means go by the rules of governing set forth originally in the U. S. Constitution.

I think we should specify .
Conservative.....2007
or
Conservative....1776-1791 {?}

Thank you!

None of them could be any Democrat. One or two might beat Kuchinich but his chances are about as good as those of Ron Paul in other words 't aint gonna happen.
