I'm not going to disclose my opinion on the matter because I don't want to appear biased. I'm just curious to see how many people strongly back the second amendment, and how many people would prefer to live in a gun-less nation.

absolutely support the 2nd amendment. Take the guns out of criminals hands, not law abiding people! I have a right to protect myself and my family and will do so with whatever means are necessary. Police usually arrive after the fact when its too late to prevent the crime. If we ban guns to prevent gun crime then we better ban rocks, baseball bats, tire irons, kitchen knives, glass bottles, hammers, big sticks, automobiles, scissors, etc. as all these things can and have been used to kill or injure.

I think you should be able to double-tap a tight group into a body-mass at 30 feet using a hand gun, and should be able to have a grouping within 8" at 100 yds with a scoped rifle.

Or are you talking about the hoplophobes' endeavors?

I believe we need have some way of tracing where the guns used to commit crimes originated. This way if there is a great number of this showing up in crime scenes, we know that there is a problem from that source. The way to do this is by having each selling source, gun shop or dealer having a special metal stamp that Id's the weapon to that seller. There is no need for any person to have a arsenal of unlicensed weapons in his possession. One weapon in a household is enough for protection.

If you are referring to hand guns, rifles or shotguns. then yes I back the second amendment, I don't beleive anyone needs assualt rifles or bigger. but I do believe we have the right to keep and bear arms. I also beleive banning all guns is just a terrible idea, there is no ways the US government can keep guns out of the US they can't keep drugs or illegals out.

A gun in the hand is better than a cop on the phone.

I back the second amendment 100%. People who choose not to carry don't have to. People choose to carry can.

Generally, it's not the people who obtain guns legally that you have to worry about.

Use both hands to steady yourself for more control. Aim for the biggest part of the body for the first shot and then follow up with a close shot into the head.
