Revenge is a dish best served cold. Go get another job and in a year if you are still mad, then get even. No one will suspect you...

Revenge? Real dumb idea. What kind of revenge can you possibly have that your boss and co workers wouldn't find entertaining and a validation that you should have been fired along time ago? Get a life and move on and by all means, do not burn any bridges. It will do you no good whatsoever and will haunt you for the rest of your working life. If you really want to get back at your boss, send him a nice card saying how much you appreciate the opportunity that he gave you and that you've learned from your mistakes. Send a similar one to your former fellow employees. Why not have everybody thinking that perhaps they misjudged you?

I have been fired. I was a hostess at a restaurant and I also wrang up orders for people. The money kept on coming up short every night that I worked, and I didn't steal it, honest. She just came up and explained to me what was going on and that she couldn't afford to keep me, so she gave me my last paycheck. I cried at first and then got pissed because she treated me like a real you know what, but now I have an excellent job as an administrative assistant and love it. I am doing well for myself, so I just look back and realize that even though I got fired from that, if I wouldn't have I might not have the job I have today. Revenge feels good at the time, but remember that sometimes it comes back to haunt you.

I was fired from a tanning salon/ laundrymat when i was 16 for "stealing" beef jerky! The owner had a tub of beef jerky on the counter that people could buy... and the as*hole fired me for it because there were two missing and not paid for! I was in a program in high school where i needed a certain amount of work hours to graduate... and I got fired 2 weeks before graduation... good thing my teacher let it slide. Never got revenge, but I sure thought about it.

Revenge is a waste of your time and energy. Its as if you are saying you can't do better. With 4% unemployment in this country sometime the best thing that can happen to someone is to get fired. Many open doors are available to you if you look.

Got forced out by a company that was doing lots of shady stuff with the contract. I apparently was the first of a handful of people in a "key" position to be forced out. I was trying to leave anyways, but they made things that much more miserable to try to discredit me on the way out. Once I was gone, they started messing with other people.

My new job ended up placing me across the hall from my old team. I made more money, worked with a much better group of people, and still got to listen to my former coworkers complain about everything that was wrong on their side of the universe. Then, my old company ended up losing their contract a few months later. The company management freaked, my former coworkers all got surfed to a new contract that they didn't like, and I got to sit there and watch (i.e. gloat) from a safe distance.

Came close one time when I had been really sick and had taken off work alot but thankfully I didn't let the Sgt intimidate me into giving an answer on something that I didn't know the answer to. If I had put a number to the question he asked, he would have been able to take action but instead, I boldly told him I had already answered that question and I didn't know and I said it with force as I looked him straight in the eye... so he dropped it and moved on with his "interrogation". I had worked there long enough to know how to protect myself but what saddened me is that even a criminal had more rights than I did that day.

He was so ruthless with others that had taken off alot, too, (two from OTJ injuries but he didn't care) that two of them up and quit on the spot. What really angered me was he called one girl in and jumped all over her for taking off so much when she was pregnant and having horrible morning sickness. She took off in the morning but came in as soon as she got her stomach settled down so she didn't miss the whole day. She sat there and cried her eyes out from what I heard later but she stayed on the job because they needed the money.

Now that is one time I would have gone to work and when I started feeling sick each morning, gladly go to his office and ask if I could go home.... and aim for his immaculate desk and expensive clothes ~ lol

But as far as revenge, no, I'm an adult not a child and I really don't believe in it although thoughts do come to mind like the one above (but they remain thoughts only :) I have more important things to do with my life and revenge is not one of them.

Plus I know that God will take care of things on Judgment Day so I give it to Him and let Him keep the records on who has done what, that way I can lead a happy life here on earth.

Yes. I filed a civil suit and called the state. Not for revenge. Simply because it was the right thing to do for the people involved. The people won. Not the corporation.

I got fired from this fast food joint I worked at when I was younger but it was bullcrap. They hired this new manager Michelle who would take our tills and lock herself in the office to count them. Well Michelle decided for some reason that she didn't like me, so magically when she counted my drawer it came up short. Mind you I had already worked there two years with no problem and had worked my way up to crew leader. Well they said if my drawer came up short one more time I was going to get fired. So the restaurant had this 1-800 number that you could call but I guess it was just for customers. I told the lady on the other end what was happening and what could I do I was afraid that the next time Michelle worked my drawer would magically come up short again and I didn't want to get fired. Well she asked for my name and which store I worked at and I said why and she said don't worry, it's just for our records, it's totally confidential. The next time I went into work they called me in the office and told me I was fired because they knew what I did, and I said what did I do, and they said you called the 1-800 number. Michelle threatened to sue me for slander. I always thought if I saw Michelle on the street I would kick her a** but never did.

no revenge - suck it up and move on...

get your resume together and go get another job - getting fired happens to people all the time. Those who are less bitter are much more successful then those who are not!
