I asked my recruiter to reclass me to IS from HM. He says theyre working on it but if the process involves simply a phone call to meps then ill know hes not working on it! does anyone know what a recruiter has to actually do to accomplish a reclassification? any chance its a-- lots of paperwork/phone calls/days or weeks long process? or should it only take a few days and im being put on the backburner for now?

I have a roomate whom I asked to leave. Its a long story, he refuses to split utilities after he originally agreed to. He has been verbally harassing me on a daily basis (i.e. screaming profanities, trying to tell me I cant have guests, cant make a single noise, etc) Finally he egged his gf to punch me in the face after I asked her to leave bc she is basically squatting (living rent free and utiliy free when she is not on the lease). I had the police escort her out and I filed a claim against her for hitting me. I want to take him to court and sue him for all the back utilities he owes, for the damages he left to the room, (drew on the walls, ripped up the floor) also i suspect he kicked and abused my dog (she has bruises on her butt and I certaINLY DID NOT DO THIS) I am planning on taking her to the vet to get an official analysis if it is in fact inflicted abuse. Finally I am suing for harassment. Normally I would not go this far but I feel violated after someone physcially attacking

It seems as though public opinion is firmly on the side of regulation: people who talk on cell phones while they drive are almost universally ridiculed. And I assume that there are ample studies showing a link between cell-phone usage and careless driving. Therefore, the fact that this practice hasn't been more widely banned by now strikes me as very odd. Any explanations?

Now that so much wealth is in the hands of a tiny elite who control the American media and control the political system. A large proportion of the people are in badly paid jobs with little or no security in their lives. Is it now time for the workers to take control of industry and the plitical system and to redistribute wealth. It is the workers who built the economy, it is the workers who should reap the benefits, not some overpaid corporate board members. It is time for the USA to become the Socialist States of America, power to the people

I thought the reason illegals were "tolerated" was because they do jobs "Americans won't do"

Are Americans so rich and picky that we don't want construction jobs now too?

Or is the the tax burden defeating the American dream and forcing Americans to become like the illegals and their criminal conduct?

Illegals "work off the books" safely for the most part. What is the consequence if an American is caught "working off the books"?

What does our government do with the tax dollars collected from illegals using social security numbers they steal from living and dead Americans? If your social security number is stolen and you collect higher social security thru illegal contribution you are subject to fraud charges.

Im in the DEP as a hospital corpsman, but I want to be an IS. My ship date is sept 20th. when I ask about my reclassification status the recruiter tells me that theyre working on it and I dont have to really worry since the ship date is far off. Is he bullshitting me? I dont know what they have to do to get me reclassed and how complicated it is, if at all, so i dont know if maybe theyre not doing anything at all!

George W. Bush used to be a cheerleader in college.

I think he misses it!

I see him out there in his white pants and white shoes.

He wears a bright red pullover sweater that has Al-Qaeda across the front in silver letters.

His megaphone has an Islamic crescent painted on it along with the words "Bring it on!"

As one example, Wisconsin spends on average $10,000 each year to educate just one kid.

Other states are in that ball park.

Dems whine that we spend far too little. I think $10,000 sounds like a LOT.

i am staying separately from my husband since last 2 years. we also have a 1.5 year old son . my forced me and my parents to give him about 10 lakhs worth jewellery and cash which he spent in gambling and lottery. he also used to torture me physically. now he says he will divorce me only if i give my child to him. i dont want my son to be like him. i dont trust him - he may harm our child just to avenge my decision of staying away from him. pleaze help if you know indian laws what should i do?

Their names were taken off a house they invested a great deal of money in, and the profit did not go to them. The way I understand Medicaid laws, if they need to go into a nursing home in the next five years, they could be penalized 7 to 15 months. I have evidence of the deed and their loan being paid off. I believe they know their names are off the loan and they must have been coerced to not receive any of the money. I have called a medicaid lawyer and she says call the police. I have talked to a detective and he says drop it because medicaid probably won't find out. I want to let my parents know what is going on, but am afraid they may take my name off as power of attourney so I will be unable to interfere with whoever is exploiting them. I appreciate any insight into this matter.
