They'll ask you basic questions - that is all - they are doing a job to protect their country.

They are not as bad as has been made out.

You will be asked if you are bringing in XXXX amount of dollars ($10,000 I think) and if you have any drugs, medication, meat or plants within your luggage or on your person. Nothing major just basic common sense. Are you there on holiday or visiting relatives - on holiday - No probs - visiting relatives than they will ask for your relatives address, zip code etc...

You will be fingerprinted and a photo taken - that's it - about 5 mins of your time.

Just be polite and answer the questions

Unless you are doing something illegal you should have no problem. Citizenship? on the top of the question list..where are you going? how long do you plan on staying? What are you bringing with YOu? all normal questions. If you are honest with your answers, there is nothing to worry about..have a great time.

I have heard now that they demand your fingerprints upon entry to the US, so be careful.
