Supporters are fond of claiming that the Bush tax cuts turned around the economy and that the cuts were "in the spirit of Ronald Reagan." In fact, Reagan increased taxes twice, after his '81 tax cut, resulting in a net increase in taxes, particularly on the middle class. Note that the recession in the early '80s ended AFTER the tax increases. Clinton's major tax INCREASE in 1993 was followed by the longest economic expansion in our history, with creation of over 20 million jobs. Whatever our party, let's start dealing with some semblance of fact versus myth

Ron Paul, being a TRUE conservative, does not support the Illegal witetaps, nor does he support most of the PAT ACT. Will the pseudo conservative Bush and McCain lapdogs call him liberal for actually standing up to the ideals of conservatism. Or is the GOP finally ready for real conservatism even though it goes against most of What bush and the rest of the called conservatives believe in?

My husband will be going to DLI for over a year, (we will be with him there) then to AIT for 22 weeks. We have been told it is possible for us to go with him, how do we arrange this? I have heard that if he is going to be somewhere for six months or more that we will move with him, since this is so close can we request it?

Also, can I move myself there and have him live with us even if the Air Force is not doing the actual move?

On the main page of Yahoo for much of the morning there were 2 articles on the main page.
1) Lebanese army shells refugee camps, and in the story makes it out to be a very legitimate operation.
Underneath it said, Israeli army pounds Gaza, which was in response to rockets being fired into Israel, and in the article it says they killed 5 Palestinians failing to mention 4 were militants.
What's going on here?
If Israel was bombing a refugee camp in response to terrorist fire they would recieve a much harsher response.

I think the laws are too vague and open to misinterpretation. One mistake will cost you. I mean I am a relatively new driver with little experience but I have never gotten into a traffic violation, only petty parking ticket fines. From the very day I began driving, which was about 5-6 months ago, to the this day I have
received over 4-6 tickets, totaling over 500 dollars. An average ticket costs $65 and double parking costs $115. I have only gotten one ticket reduced and the rest founded guilty. I no longer believe in the myth of beating tickets. It seems as if the traffic officers are hell bent on fining every single person for the slightest bit of violations. I have no respect for these people and their way of living. Most of them have no sympathy for drivers nowadays and never give the drivers a chance to explain themselves. Plus, the cost of living is rising, let alone driving and the ridiculous cost of gas prices nowadays.
Should drivers have a say on the ticket prices and rules?

I actually saw this on the news this morning. Yes on the news. Not an email or blog, but on the news. Mainstream media that is. I wish I had a link, I haven't has time to find it right now.
They talked about proof that scientists had that dense forests in the frozen parts of the world actually cause a rise in average mean temperatures by up to ten degrees by trapping heat.
Forrests in tropic and sub tropic climates actually do help in the removal of green house gases, but in frozen areas it can contribute to it from what they said.

My main point it is this. With still so many un-answered questions about global warming, why have so many made up their minds that Al Gore and his entourage are right? I mean, this guy has a so called "carbon footprint" that equals about 20 families worth of energy usage. Why would anybody believe such a poor leader of example as well as a hypocrite?
