The American people will not be duped into accepting lame excuses for an unpopular war that's costing the lives of our sons and daughters without a crystal clear end in sight. Iraq must learn to stand on their own two feet and govern themselves. American occupation is not the solution to the problem, any more than a stranger who comes in to take over your house.

Why do we allow ourselves to win the battle and then turn around and lose the war?

Why did Blair(our closest allied) pull his troops out of Iraq and then leave it all in the hands of America?

Why are we torn between two opinions? Why?, Why?, Why? Why are Republican moderates now having their doubts?

What is the exit plan for now?

-You have to fight 3 different enemies at the same time: Iraqi Sunnis insurgents, Iraqi Shiite militias & Al Qaeda.

-Your troops can't identify the enemy because they all look like the civilian population.

-You don't have enough troops to secure the borders which means insurgents/terrorists can come & go as the please.

-You have an extremely fragile new Democratic Govt. that is barely functioning.

-You have rules of engagement that tie one hand behind the backs of all your troops while the people they are fighting follow no rules.

-You're fighting in the middle of a sectarian/civil war.

-And even with a number of troop "Surges" you still don't have enough troops to win the war.

Now I thought about throwing in the Dems & Bush as part of the problem of not winning the war but as you can see they're are so many other reasons that have nothing to do with the Dems or Bush that they almost don't matter.

Leaving political parties out of this, what do you want to see from the next President?

I want to see a strong domestic agenda. A full on assult on Roe vs. Wade and get it overturned. I want to see an amendment banning gay marriage. I would like to see more 'family values' placed in schools, in entertainment (TV, radio, movies, etc.)

I want a President who will keep the Bush economy surging forward.

I want to see a 'get tough' policy with Iran, North Korea, etc. Negotations are not working, so it is time to get tough.

I also would like to see immigrants given a clear path to citizenship, and tighter security at the borders. We need immigrant workers to fuel the workforce.

keep deleting questions that state opposition to illegal immigration? They have been called out time and time again on their liberal bias towards illegals, and unashamedly keep censoring people who disagree with them. Is this a forum for all ideas, or just the ones Yahoo agrees with? Burning American flags, waving Mexican ones, defaming our President, and breaking laws are conveniently excused by Yahoo with Freedom of Speech. I guess that doesn't extend to anyone who disagrees with Yahoo. I guess we see the type of forum they want here.

I read that the Democratic Party will not send a funding bill to President Bush that he can support because a socialist organization, "move on.org" controls the Democratic Party. I personally prefer John McCain for President because he is a true patriot but will support another candidate if they are against abortion and support the War in Iraq. I love the USA and I'm going to enlist after graduation with my boyfriend and he and I will get married by an Army Chaplan after we complete our training. Four years after our enlistments are up we will have a lot of kids, I'll be a stay at home mom, and he will go out and get a job (HE BETTER!!). But until than we will fight for our Country, the GREATEST!! Country on the Earth.

I'm just curious what you think.
Ok, well I get foodstamps, and a medical card for my daughter, my husband works his butt off, and I homeschool our daughter. I don't consider myself to be dirt poor or anything but we could use the help.
I notice every time I have to go to the DHHR office there are dirty people there who do drugs, have like 20 kids, don't work and who are able just not willing. It makes me so mad, I don't think they deserve it! If you don't use the benefit to help better yourself, and just use them long enough to get back on your feet then you shouldn't have them! I think in order to get any benefits you should be tested for drugs, and be in school or have a job (if able to). What do you think the guidelines should be?

I think the most dangerous and damaging legacy of the Bush Administration (something that will have even greater consequences than the Iraq war) is the complete distrust of Government by ordinary people. Many people (the majority) tend to take whatever anybody in Government says with a pinch of salt, or immediately question it. Even if it turns out to be true.
Aren't people SUPPOSED TO believe their Government?
Your thoughts?

I am that's for sure. These new Congressman need to be brought 'back into the fold.' For how many years, Bush never had to use his veto power. Now he is using it more then ever. Congress is not function like it is supposed to, which is drafting laws and budgets that the President will approve. Many voters have severe cases of remorse right now, and long for the good years of 2002-2006.

We can spend billions of dollars on a declining war, but we can not stop 25-50% of our inmates from getting raped.

It is amazing we haven't done more for prison rape in this day and age. It is spreading HIV largely among our prison population, and these people are spreading it when they get out. Not only is it a large part of the AIDS epidemic, it is destroying many of these prisoner's emotionally, making them more angry at society and more emotionally disturbed than they were before, making them a huge threat to commit worse crimes.

Lets say that you are under 18 and you are driving and a cop pulls you over. He sees that in the seat next to you there are empty beer bottles on the ground. He gives you a breathalizer test and you score a negative because you weren't drinking. Can you still get arrested? I would like some facts or websites that prove this.
Thanks!

I've been bashing the fascist BNP for quite some time, wether it's been placing my anti-fascist league stickers over their posters, or simply telling them to stop being so stupid.
I'd like to know why some people ( seen a few on these boards) think that a racist and fascist government will 'save' Britain.

I'd like to be pointed out that I will not chew up mindless propoganda, all I'd like is a little description to why BNP supporters think that pop-eyed griffin will do any good.

For all you non-Fascists, heres a nice picture of some thick BNP members holding the union flag upside down to laugh over.

A friend of mine was intimately involved with a woman for about three or four monthes. He is a very cautious person and always uses protection, with spermicide. About a week or so ago, she told him she was pregnant. Come to find out she in 16 weeks pregnant! Now he doesn't believe it's his and is in no way prepared to be a parent emotionally or finacially and they agreed it would be best for both of them to abort the baby. But yesterday she changed her mind and says she wants to keep it. He does not want this baby. He was not dating this woman. And he does not love her. He believes she is trying to trap him in to being with her. What legal rights does he have? He does not want this woman putting him on child support for a baby he didn't ask for. Shouldn't he have a say as to whether or not she keeps the baby? And if not, how is it fair for her to get child support from him when she is the one who is making the decision to keep it?
