Counting all civilians, military, contractors, insurgents, and non-Iraqi civilians, at least 70,000; to as many as 655,000+

Iraqi Civilians -- between 63 and 69 thousand according to
http://www.iraqbodycount.org/

US troop casualties currently stand at 3379 (5 more awaiting confirmation) according to
http://icasualties.org/oif/

Estimates of Iraqi combatants vary widely.

The Lancet study puts the total body count in Iraq somewhere near 600,000. The US claims that is high. At the same time, the admit they do not do estimated kill counts anymore because of the unprecise nature of bombing campaigns.

The top numbers don't include contractors, non Iraqi combatants, or journalists.

Official Iraqi civilian count, 68,000. Unofficial estimate of civilian casualties, over 600,000 (developed by a team of American and Iraqi epidemiologists)

Fun fact: The Bush administration does not count the civilian deaths as a result of car bombings or IEDs in their numbers of war-related casualties. http://www.newsobserver.com/505/story/567684.html

American soldiers in Iraq, 3,382. In Afghanistan, 389
Other coalition soldiers, 273.

The Pentagon does not release the numbers of "insurgents" killed.

It will soon be 4000 Americans. That is if we can believe the official figures. They don't tell us how many hundreds of thousands of Iraqi have died including women and children. Some foreign news reports put that number upwards on 500,000. I do agree with those numbers. Impeach Bush and Cheney, convict them, remove them from office and bring our troops home alive, now.

Millions less than WWI, WWII, the Russian Revolution, Vietnam, Korea.................

3,000 military deaths in 5 years? That's an amazingly low rate.
