Leaving political parties out of this, what do you want to see from the next President?

I want to see a strong domestic agenda. A full on assult on Roe vs. Wade and get it overturned. I want to see an amendment banning gay marriage. I would like to see more 'family values' placed in schools, in entertainment (TV, radio, movies, etc.)

I want a President who will keep the Bush economy surging forward.

I want to see a 'get tough' policy with Iran, North Korea, etc. Negotations are not working, so it is time to get tough.

I also would like to see immigrants given a clear path to citizenship, and tighter security at the borders. We need immigrant workers to fuel the workforce.

First and foremost, COMMON SENSE. Add in honesty, integrity, and commitment to the American people.

I'd like for us to have a President who will support and uphold our Constitution. We haven't seen that in a while. Someone who will not be a lackey to the U.N..

I want a President who will protect and defend the sovereignty of the United States of America, no matter what the rest of the anti-American world thinks about it. That includes securing our southern border against all threats (any person entering this country illegally, drug smugglers, terrorists, etc.).

I do have to disagree with you on the immigration issue.

Legal immigration already creates a clear path to citizenship. That path is clearly spelled out in our existing immigration laws. It may not be quick and easy as some would like, but most things worth having require effort and sacrifice. Persons caught entering this country illegally should be immediately deported (the first time they are caught) and forever denied lawful entry. That would end the illegal alien problem. Once our borders are secure, those here illegally have either left on their own or been deported, and Americans all have jobs, then legal immigration numbers (on a merit based system)
could be adjusted accordingly.

The anti-Bush.

This poster would prefer a true economic boom such as the Clinton era economy versus today's deficit inflated economy.

This poster would prefer to see a twenty foot, double wall constructed at the southern border and all illegal immigrants deported for breaking the immigration laws.

This poster would prefer a true diplomat versus an idiot who knows nothing about foreign affairs.

I am in agreement with you on every issue with the exception of immigration. Illegals are flooding our economic resources and taking jobs that Americans ought to be doing. Have we become so elitist that picking fruit is beneath us? Grow up, America!

Well thanks to President Bush, Hilary is almost gauranteed the White House in 2008 so it looks like we're going to get a Marxists as our new President whether we like it or not. One final farewell present from Bush. Could that guy be any worse?

I like your list but would add:
I would like to see more local government control , thereby less federal government
I would like to see a national packing law making it legal to strap your gun on and go to town
