The American people will not be duped into accepting lame excuses for an unpopular war that's costing the lives of our sons and daughters without a crystal clear end in sight. Iraq must learn to stand on their own two feet and govern themselves. American occupation is not the solution to the problem, any more than a stranger who comes in to take over your house.

Why do we allow ourselves to win the battle and then turn around and lose the war?

Why did Blair(our closest allied) pull his troops out of Iraq and then leave it all in the hands of America?

Why are we torn between two opinions? Why?, Why?, Why? Why are Republican moderates now having their doubts?

What is the exit plan for now?

US troops must already withdraw from Iraq because an Iraqi government was already established and Saddam Hussien considered as a threat was already executed.

1) No war has a clear end in sight until victory is near. During WW II, the U.S. didn't even win a single exchange until a year after Pearl Harbor. Dead and wounded often reached hundreds per day. Almost 1,000 Allied soldiers died while PRACTICING for the Normandy invasion.

2) We win all the battles and lose the war because of a) liberal media, b) Left wing Democrat politicians who put personal power ahead of the country's welfare. The Islamo-Facists aren't stupid. They know they can't defeat the U.S. military. So they don't even try. Instead they rely on America's internal enemies to fight the war via MSNBC, The New York Times, CBS News, etc. They're financed by America haters like George Soros and Hollywood liberals.

3) As in all wars, the exit plan is victory. That's the way it always is.

Learning to run a country after years of oppression by a genocidal dictator takes time....How long did we Americans fight the Brits and then each other before becoming one nation able to stand against it's enemies? Democracy and the assumption of complete control takes time. PLUS, we're now fighting Al Qaida over there and they've declared death to America, beginning with the 1993 WTC bombing, and then again in the 2001 WTC 911 attack. We most definitely need to finish them off before pulling out of Iraq. Otherwise, the bad guys are not centralized in one region and can evade annihilation easier, or they can take over the Iraqi government and sway an entirely new leader to allow them to train and prepare against the US.

I think it is because Liberals are so easy to hit...and too dense to really figure out who threw it...

Exit plan? Well I think we should just cut and run...just like we did in VN...Yup....

Cut and run and let the people of Iraq pay for our inability to see something through...just like they did in VN...Remember how many were "purged" when we did that little number?

No...I bet not....not many people who want to "get out now" do....

But then I suppose it is not really our problem...after all...it is a purely internal civil war...right? But wait..that isn't true is it? No...but I am sure we can close our eyes to the slaughter, just as we did when we pulled out of Nam....Yup...let 'em die...not our problem....

Only becomes our problem when the terrorist activity moves to our home shores, eh? Or maybe we should just let it happen here...hell...we could stand to lose a few more thousand of our countrymen....Yup...and since really they will only want to hit large numbers of our people...it will only be the cities...the subways....large gatherings....

I don't go to the super bowl...I don't live in a big city...I don't really spend time in large masses of people....

So...hell...I gots nothing to worry about.....

Let's cut and run....yeah...that seems like the thing to do....
