I heard from some guy when you sign up they ask if you tried marijuana, even experimentally. If it is over 5 times, they will not let you in. Is this true? I want to become a pilot. I am seventeen, and recently I've gotten a commercial burglary charge too. What are the chances of me getting in?

some friends of mine were shoplifting (stupid idea I know) When the store brought them in and called the police. They have to pay a fine to the loss prevention dept. of that company and they were not arrested just given a ticket. They now have a court date and I was wondering what might happen to them. I heard that if they were not arrested when the police were first called that they will only get a fine. Is this true? One more thing...(stupid again I know) one of them had there baby with them. What will happen with that?

We just had an awful thing happen in our community. It is 6 boys: two 17 year old boys and four 11 and 12 year olds. They poured gas on a dog and burned it alive. The tent they were in caught on fire as well. The cops had to shoot the dog as it was still alive, but almost dead and in tremendous pain. The courts are planning on sending the older boys to boot camp. The younger ones, I think were just there to look cool, Peer pressure and all. The younger boys are most likely scarred for life because of what the older boys made them witness. Apparently the older boys had it planned and were the ones to collect all the gas and lighters and they even set up the tent to burn the dog in. There's no word yet as to what they'll do with the younger boys.
I think they should get mental help for what they've seen.
But the older ones need to go to some kind of behavoirial (sp)? readjustment and hopefully jail.
Any comments will help, as I plan on writing to the newspaper and the judges.

Ron Paul is now listed on Yahoo's political spectrum. Why did it take Yahoo so long to list him? It seems like Yahoo has bowed to the general populous and listed him.

how do you feel about being a consumer? i personally hate that word.........
and i don't constitute sitting behind a desk typing on a computer "hard work", rather hard work comes from the cheap labor from china working 15 hours to build the keyboard you are typing on and the shoes you are wearing for pennies........
and if capitalism not democracy has made american the greatest nation in the world - then it has done more harm to america then even i could have predicted........

All I have seen was lets run and hide. I did hear recently they have a plan to continue training the Iraq army and police.. But if the Iraq forces don't have our in the field backing, from what I have seen they will be slow to act and many will die as a result.

I have seen many people here in Yahoo Q&A and elsewhere on the Web,, their answers and opionions appear to be influenced by Al Qaeda thinking and motives.

Also I know most of the conspiracy theories were originaly created by Terrorists and radical islam. But now it seems the democrates including some of the USA politicians hve begun to believe the lies.

Look at some of Hilarys statements. Many are directly relatedto conspiracy theories and also by Lies told be democrates and twists on testimonials by ex CIA members who testifies at the 9/11 hearings

According to Missouri State Statutes Chap. 211 would I be able to terminate my paerental rights closely look at section 2 subsections 2a & 2b, section 6 subsections 1 & 5. http://www.moga.state.mo.us/statutes/C200-299/2110000447.HTM . Aprox. 2 and a half years ago, I met a girl whom I dated for 3 weeks. On the 3rd week she claimed she was pregnant I was not mad, in fact I told her I wanted to go the doctor with her, and was ready to start a family. When we mwt her mother had stated she wanted grandkids, and she stated she wanted a baby. She also stated she could not get pregnant. Literally 2 days after getting pregnant she took off. I never heard from her agian. Abouth a month ago I got some papers from DFS in Missouri requesting paternal DNA testing, well it turns it was mine, it also turned out as soon as she got pregnant she got back with her ex. The baby is now 18 months old, I have never met the child, the child calls him Daddy, I think it would be do more harm than good for me to come barging into the childs life now only for her to learn I am daddy. I have a family of my own with 2 kids, this could possibly break up my family. I seriously think it would be in the best of interest of the child and myself to terminate my rights. According to the state statutes should I be able to terminate my rights, if anyone can please help me or get me some usefull info I would really apreciate. Any suggestions or comments are also welcomed. My wife is aware of all this but she is fierous that I have to pay child support. I have no interest in the child I. I have my 2 loving babys and a loving wife. The fact the other female lied to me and is just now coming around and claiming me as daddy and asking for money, I wanna terminate my rightsand hopefully financial responsibility. I know it sounds babd on my part. You have to be in my shoes to understand it. I really am a wonderfull dad to my 2 kids at home. This girl just wrecked my life and lied to me just so she could have a baby.

The 'conservatives' always like to dump on Jimmy Carter, but it was Carter that actually began the process of bringing down the old USSR via the Carter Doctrine. I can well image the beating I'm going to take for bringing this up.

An over-sexed criminal? So when somebody who is a man first and a color second, such as Barack Obama or Morgan Freeman, comes along, Rush says they aren't "really" black.

I'm sorry, is there also only one type of white man? Hatemongers who are still threatened by anybody of color who isn't on a plantation? I guess that means I'm not "really" white.

To all: A word of caution! Please remember two things when answering this question. 1) Terrorism is a tactic, not a government. 2) Terrorists are global, they do not have a country per se, and they operate out of just about anywhere.
