Because this is exactly what they want, it's all progress towards the end time.
Death doesn't matter to the christian fundamentalists, anymore than it matters to islamic fundamentalists. They both believe their place in God's Kingdom is secured. The christians just have better PR agents.
The claim that civilian casualties can be blamed on the arabs, not the US government, is the most ludicrous attempt at an excuse I've heard for some time.
Are these the same people who suggest it's better to fight the terrorists in Iraq, rather than on your own doorstep? They are fully aware that this war and only this war has created the climate in Iraq that has facilitated the deaths of innocents in their 100's of thousands, to say nothing of the injured (we're not talking a bruised knee here) and those who have fled their homes and been made homeless. They could at least be honest about it, admit that they have brought the terror to the people of Iraq, that they couldn't care less about the death and destruction in Iraq.
The thing that galls me is that they KNOW Saddam had nothing to do with terrorism, had no part whatsoever in 9/11, despised, and was despised by, Bin Laden but they happily trot out their lies and call those who disagree with them traitors, in order to justify their actions.
In my opinion it's these liars, these manipulators of the truth, these Bush regime apologists who are betraying America, it's people and all that it stands for. These war mongering 'patriots' who sit at home behind their computers whilst someone elses son, or husband or father gets killed fighting this phony war.
Finally, we can dispute figures of civilian deaths all day, the fact is the government couldn't be bothered to count them. How very convenient.

"The Iraqi civilian death count is around 60,000" according to a_wood80. That figure is an amount that he can sleep with.
60,000 innocent men, women and children slaughtered who had done nothing wrong is okay according to this guy.
Lets just say for a minute that it is not the 650,000 which is accurate by the way and estimated by groups on the ground counting in Iraq. But lets just say that a_wood has a more accurate count from his plush recliner.
The figure of 60,000 still represents 9/11 times 20. Or 9/11 repeated over and over again in lets say these cities:
New York
Los Angeles
Chicago
Philadelphia
Phoenix
San Antonio
San Diego
Dallas
San Jose
Detroit
Indianapolis
Jacksonville
San Francisco
Columbus
Austin
Memphis
Baltimore
Washington D.C.
Boston
Denver
If this happened we would be launching nukes at somebody no questions asked. But you cons think it is okay to happen to somebody else? These are the Christian values you claim to stand up for? What a bunch of hypocrites.

Don't forget the millions of displaced Iraqis and the crippling levels of unemployment. But the cons are right: the Democrats can't ignore the role they played in this war either. Furthermore, they are sitting on their hands right now and only doing the bare minimum they need to in order to keep the blame focused on Bush. He deserves to be sent to jail for war crimes, but under the circumstances the Democratic Leadership's call for "Wait until the 2008 elections" should be a wake up call to anyone on the Left that we would do well to take matters into our own hands rather than put our faith in opportunistic politicians.

To many zeros only 63K to 69K Iarqs have been killed in this war so far.
Only 3300 US deaths wow that is very low in a war. Billy got over 4000 killed and he did not even have a war.
Iraqis aren't
dying from war.
They are being murdered by
Islamic terrorists.

Yeah, but now the Iraqis have access to Big Macs.
They can sleep because they have no brain and no heart.
To set the record straight...
Well over 1 million Iraqis are dead, mostly women and children, if you count all casualties of both wars and the sanctions.

We have been at war withIslamofascism for decades. In war, people die. There are 10,000 American soldiers buried on Omaha Beach. The 650k civilian number is bogus, but I'm sure you know that. Almost all civilian casualities have been inflicted by other Arabs, but I'm sure you know that too.

The Iraqi civilian death count is around 60,000. If you choose to believe the grossly innacurate 650,000, you have to achnowledge that 69% of that reported figure did not die as a result of Coalition Forces.

It is all business to the Neo-Cons. Just imagine the profit on the caskets (over650,000), the flowers, sale of land, candles....
Corporations making guns, ammunition, air crafts, uniforms, food, bottled water, sucks, shoes...and all other war needs. Someone is making a big money while rest of us, working people, are footing the bill.
