They love Kite flying, they do play soccer (but soccor is not as big as it is in Iran), and Polo.
However Polo was invented in Iran not afghanistan

Football (what only the United States seems to call Soccer) is a perennial favorite.

Kite fighting, but like everything there it's dangerous. I think Pakistan banned kite fighting because people were getting decapitated, even recently.
There is also a sport that's a cross between polo and rugby where they drag a dead goat around on horseback.
Soccer is popular.
