Yesterday, 182 civilians were killed in one day in Iraq by madmen.

Since the US led war, they have continuously been killed by crazy people everday.

6 times more people died in Iraq yesterday than in V. Tech. Not that the people dying in V. Tech was not sad, but why does it get more attention thatn 182 PEOPLE killed in Iraq?

By the way, I'm not conservative or lib. Just answer the question

the marriage was great on the first couple of months but then after i found out that he met other girl first before me and he didnt chose her coz she has kids.my sister told me not to mind it coz at least he chosed me. but it kinda hurt to know that im only a second choice. and after two more months i started to see his real attitude that he always yells and hollers at me on the most shallow reasons. and hes not even taking me out for dinner or lunch.his daughter whose living with us with two kids, was the one in charge of buying the groceries and all the stuff needed in the house.after a while i felt like, were not gonna be able to eat without her daughter.coz his salary was just enough to pay his bills and debts.and then when i got a job he bought a truck and signed my name in there and i was paying it everymonth.but then i came to a point that ive felt so tired so i left him.now what im worrying about is that will he be able to deport me? and if yes,on what grounds?pls help.

I am a German living in Germany. I will never understand why each adult American has the right to carry firearms and to buy them. Aren't there too many crimes? Could America not avoid many crimes if they would install a law where carrying firearms would be severely restricted to persons who prove that they really need a firearm, prove that they are mentally sane?

The Best way for the Republicans to lose BIG the next election is to continue backing Bush in this failed disaster in Iraq. If the troops don't come home before Bush leaves, you can almost sign Hillary's paycheck . . .

The Iraq War, to me, was the removal of Saddam from power in Iraq. The Iraq War was making sure the Iraqi government would not supply WMD's to any terrorist group.

The Iraq War was won back in 2003. What we have in Iraq now is a battle in the Global War on terror, not the "Iraq War."

We have terrorists and sectarian terrorists killing each other far more than they are killing Americans.

We are there to help the Iraqi government take a firm grip on its power and provide security for its own people. After all, we removed the dictator who kept them in check with murder and intimidation, and now his minority is not happy.

We owe the Iraqis that much.

Reid is way out of line to say we have lost the Iraq War. He has no idea what he is talking about, and does nothing but encourage the terrorists.

I wrote some hand written statements for a waiver to be granted or denied, for not mentioning a misdemeanor charge(theft under $300) from 1998, at MEPS when I swore in. I leave for basic on June 26. I have been waiting for a month to know the response from my recruiters CO, as to whether my waiver will be granted, and if i am still leaving for basic. Finally he calls me, and says."Antonio they kicked back ur statement, because there are a few things they want you to take out of ur statement, so u will have to rewrite ur statement"...So i will stop by later to do so, but what does this mean?? They never explain anything. Will my waiver be denied or granted?

If you look at the photo of the Virginia Tech killer, it seems like his eyes are out of alignment--one is set higher than the other or something. I've noticed this in a lot of pictures of psychopathic killers. Is this something that is known within forensics or psychiatry? Does it indicate some kind of brain defect?

I don't want to be offensive--I'm sure if someone looks like that they aren't necessarily a psychopath, but it's strange!

Serious answers only.

I was seriously attacked by a psychopath. How many others out there have to be before we get them off our streets PERMANENTLY, as in commit them permanently to an institution, not let them out of prison or the institution when they are still a threat to society.
