We "lost" Vietnam because we pulled out. If we pull out of Iraq...we lose. I feel sorry for the fallen soldiers and their families for the wasted effort. It's a lose-lose situation for any new administration...thanks to the dumb Texan.

The reason cons still think Bush can win this war is because they have no clue as to what is going on in Iraq and what is behind all the violence in that country right now. They still think it is Al Queda. It's amazing how unbelievably uninformed they are. There was a great frontline program on this past week completely laying out what was going on in Iraq. Petraeous was interviewed along with alot of other generals and they were going into what was really happening and why the Iraqie government wasn't making any progress in taking over their own country. It was because they haven't had control over it from the beginning. It's the muslim clerics controlling the violence and killings. The Iraq government is weak. The Iraq military and police are controlled by the Shiite muslim cleric, Sadr. And, he controls the office of the interior who is run by a Shiite muslim loyal to him. The office of the interior oversees the police and military. Out of this has developed death squads going into Sunni neighborhoods killing Sunnis just for being Sunni. It's a civil war. It's not in our hands. Over 80% of the Iraqies, Sunni and Shiite, want us out of their country. I don't believe our soldiers should be dying for Iraqies or Muslim extremist clerics. It's been time to go for a long time. Now more than ever. It's a no win situation and has been doomed that from the start. Sorry folks, but that is the reality of it.

I sympathize with your opt to have a new child yet this may be a foul, undesirable undesirable theory! Legally: no longer in straight forward terms can your pal get fired if caught, in maximum places this may be a criminal. and you're an adjunct. except you elect for to have a new child in penal complex, ignore it. Biologically: there's a reason in vitro fertilization is a low yield proposition: The circumstances do no longer choose impregnation. it is the reason it many times takes somewhat some tries. enable's settle for it - the "huge-unfold" way of fertilization many times takes a a number of tries (on generic). Ethically: people who donate sperm achieve this decrease than very strict circumstances and decrease than the coverage that their genetic cloth would be used properly. they have a real to have that expectation fulfilled. And what might you tell your new child? That they have been the made of a criminal offense? Please re-evaluate.

The war was against the government of Saddam. We won, the war is over! Getting the new government to control their new country on the other hand is far from over and is showing to be much more difficult than most anticipated. I guess you could say we are now dealing with a new and seperate civil war that will continue whether we are there or not.
Don't get too excited about Hillary! The country may be ready for a change, but it is not ready for a bitchy, socialist, woman to be in charge. Regardless of what the media tells you.

the terrible thing is that the Americans only object to the Iraqi war because they are losing the lives of their loved ones not because of the illegality of the war which took thousands of lives of the Iraqi's loved ones, a mother, a father, ahusband, a wife, a son or a daughter, ababy or an elderly man. it is only a catsrophic human crisis as far as the americans are concerned...u are the only existing terrorists of this world who can not learn to coexist with the other but how to suck the blood of the other.!!!!

Today Gate, head of the military in Iraq, endorsed the Democratic party's threat to pull the plug. This puts the White House in the uncomfortable position of endorsing their newly appointed general, while threatening to veto.
Gates told the Iraqis we would pull out, if needed. Does that make him a 'spineless liberal?'
It makes Gates a patriot, who understands that American blood is being wasted by the most irresponsible President in history.

yep.. if it is not working.. instead of constantly changing objectives and stringing this whole mess on forever.. It would be nice to just set a deadline .. 6 or 12 months.. accomplish everything we can in that time frame .. and leave..
We have certainly invested enough resources trying to stabilize the country.. it is time to go.
The war is over when they (the Iraqi's) don't want us there anymore.. and that time is now. We can do no good where we are not wanted and not accepted. The survival of our soldiers depends on the confidence the people of that country have in us.. and they, as a country, seem to have none. At this point, it is their problem to find a solution for.
We got Saddam out.. we tried to form a fair democracy and new stable government.. there is nothing left for us to accomplish.

the united states of america, is the most uneducated nation on the face of the earth, that is a leading power.......
thank god for for the shooting at virgina tech, yes it was awful and so sad, but it did take nappy ho's and maybe let anna nichole rest for a couple of days.......
we as americans are so stupid and it's not our fault at all. we are constantly fed what important to us, and we neglect to look at the rest of the world, like it's of no importance to us. on the same day of the shooting a virgina tech, 175 were also killed in iraq, this wasn't even told on nbc news that night. i'm thinking 175 verses 33, hmmmmmmm i wonder what's the greater loss.........
everyone in america should be forced to set down and watch bbc news once a day...... it's a full hour long, so bring your chips and dip with ya.......they actually report news, with few commercials....... oh my!!!!!!!!!!!!!
to answer your question mark.............
if the public wasn't so uneducated, we wouldn't be there in the first place.............
the bush family is so vested in the oil business and no one here in the great u s of a can seem to grasp the connection...... think of that the next time you see someone filling up an suv tank at the gas pump.............
he's hitler on wheels, and would have done be shot, if he wasn't such a coward of death....... i wish i had a dime on each dollar that he spends on his personal security.................
i could go on,,,,,,,,,, but why..................thankyou and good day to you................

If he was allowed to be re-elected for 6 more terms, he would still not accept defeat 24 years from now. Remember, he's not a 'flip-flopper'. I think that in his mind, to admit a misstep is a sign of weakness.

Most Americans are so far removed from Iraq they couldn't possibly know enough to know whether the war is lost or not. I have never been to Iraq to see it. I am not a military strategist so I couldn't give an educated opinion on this question. Just because 67% of people agree on something doesn't mean it is really true.
