A man is at his home in the early morning following his daily routine of reading the paper and drinking his coffee. He is in the kitchen when he hears some noise coming from the living room. He believes it to be the family dog and dismisses the noise. Moments later he hears someone running down the stairs. As he rounds the corner he comes face to face with a police officer. “Is this 108,” asks the officer. Confused the man has no reply. “Is this house number 108,” the officer insisted. The man replies, “No, this is 128.” The officer turns and leaves immediately.

The officer, responding to a 911 call, searched all the rooms of the house in order to try and save a man’s life that was experiencing a heart attack but went to the wrong house initially. The officer went back to apologize and explained to the man his error. The police then asked the man to turn and place his hands on his head. While upstairs he found a large amount of cocaine.

I've met so many military men in my life, but they don't seem to carry many morals with them. Their whole deal is bars, taking pictures in bars, taking pictures with drinks in hand, swiggin' down a beer, "Vegas baby"!, and they have an attitude like they are superior because they have served in the military? They are also committing many crimes and adultery. Their lifestyles tend to resemble just the average fornicating man; nothing special as it's cracked up to be: "Wow! I'm in the Honor Guard"...so what does that make you honorable? No.

They shouldn't be involved in this baseless Iraqi war, but I am seeing more and more that they join the military because they think it'll buy them a home, or give them some falsehood of status, but mostly I've seen them committing more and more crimes. They might look good, some of them in a uniform, but where are the morals?

*She would be an embarrassment to the Nation if she were President
*She is a horrible Senator who pretends to talk "black" at Baptist churches further making herself look ridiculous
*She lied and cheated her way through life when she was a lawyer at The Rose Law Firm.

WHAT CAN SHE DO and do right? ANYTHING?

When Clinton and the Democratic congress passed the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 (which raised taxes for those making over 200K and increased social spending on education, job training, and police) Republicans were predicting doom and gloom.

Why were they so wrong?
------
"The tax increase will kill jobs and lead to a recession, and the recession will force people off of work and onto unemployment and will actually increase the deficit."
- Newt Gingrish

"I believe this will lead to a recession next year... Stay tuned for the next 60 days... I think we're frankly now living on borrowed time."
- Newt Gingrish

"A recipe for economic disaster..."
- Phil Crane of Illinois

"It is going to lead to a Clintastrophy, an economic Clintastrophy..."
- Indiana's Dan Burton.

"April Fool, America. This Clinton budget plan will not create jobs, will not grow the economy, and will not reduce the deficit."
- Sen. Pete Domenici of New Mexico

"We are buying a one-way ticket to a recession... I want to predict here tonight, that if we adopt this bill the American economy is going to get weaker and not stronger, the deficit four years from today will be higher than it is today and not lower ... When all is said and done, people will pay more taxes, the economy will create fewer jobs, the government will spend more money, and the American people will be worse off."
- Gramm of Texas

"This plan will not work... If it was to work, then I'd have to become a Democrat and believe that more taxes and bigger government is the answer."
- Kasich of Ohio

Shouldn't the Iraqi People be allowed to have a popular vote to decide if the US can continue to occupy the country of Iraq.
1. Do you think it would be a good idea?
2. Do you think it would show the US cares about democracy?
3. What do you think would be the long term ramifications?

My girlfriend's dad is always treating her like ****, blaming her for his divorce. So one day, after a particularly brutal tongue lashing, she ran away. She was gone 2-3 days, and when she came back her father called the police on her and they made her go through Anger management.

Is there a way for her to get that off her Record?
