As a conservative, I wanted Imus to go years ago. Al Sharpton is close to doing me a favor as he fights to get rid of Imus.

Isn't this ironic?

Amen!

It's amazing that someone who called NYC "Hymietown" is now criticizing someone else for making racist comments.

Typical liberals. "Do as I say, not as I do."

No, you are not a conservative if you support anything the racist Sharpton is doing. Also, why do you hate free speech so much that you would want to see Imus get fired. Again, you are a liberal claiming to be a conservative. It didn't work.

Sharpton doesn't care about what Imus does. Sharpton only cares about notoriety. And Sharpton is as racist as David Duke.

I do have something to ask myself... does Sharpton do anything except *****? And the thing I would like to say to all those jumping on the subject, the bottom line is if a black man had made the remark noone would have even blinked.

I am not an Imus fan, however, he has a right to say what he feels. I don't agree with what he said but to fire him for it is absurd. Worse things have been said by blacks about blacks and they have not been fired or even chastised. The blacks bring it about by themselves. Just listen to some of these absolutely stupid rappers and tell me that they are being straight and narrow. They chastise themselves as well as the whites.

I didn't even realize he was a liberal. He always just seemed like a half-senile fool. Nevetheless, I am happy to see him go. What he said made me sick. Not that so-called racist speech, for his stomach-turning apologies. If he was half the man of a Rutgers' female basketball player, he would have just told them to go to hell. He should have apologized for not being a gentleman, but apologizing like a little b**$( for being a racist to those con-artist crusaders made me want to puke. So, good riddance.

Maybe they could have a cage match to the death. That at least would get rid of one festering pustule on society.

No, moronic. There goes freedom of speech too.
