Yes, just as soon as we grow up and tire of the dog and pony shows that have kept us amused in the past.
Is he cute?
Does he hunt?
Does he have a girlfriend?
Does she smile enough?
Hows she wearing her hair today?
Who bakes the best cookies?
These are questions best left on a simpering celebrity show, and yet they turn up on political broadcasts.
Lets grow up and vote for a woman with no charm but lots of brains. Hillary is there now, and shes impressed many here with her capacity for hard work and intelligence in who she hires. We could do considerable worse, in fact we already did.

Yes.

And while I'm not personally in favor of the one that's currently the frontrunner in the democratic "money primary," I suspect that America will, in fact, choose her.

I'm a loyal republican, but I'm dissatisfied with my president's failed policies and strategies both at home and abroad. And if *I* feel that way, I presume that most of America feels even stronger about it than I, and is reeling from a terrible eight years of republicans gone bad in the executive branch. I think that they could put Jimmy Carter up again and he'd probably win.

I look for Senator Clinton to win the 2008 election.

In the best of circumstances, it still would be difficult. Probably we are the most ready we have ever been, but it would only happen if the woman was highly respected by a lot of people.

Hillary's cronies have a lot of power and money, but there are many people who remember her well. If she actually gets to running against one candidate, look out....because there are people who have been ready for years to show her as she really is....they are just waiting to see what happens.

Many women better than Hillary could not make it. And Hillary has many negatives just waiting to come out!

I think that the USA will have a female president in the future, but not anytime soon. I believe that we will have an African American president prior to a female one.
As a Caucasian woman, I think the entire system needs to be overhauled and updated. I would rather see a wider choice of candidates ~ and vote on them for their political and moral agendas rather than the color of their skin, sex or (to an extent) their religious background.

The ruling elite chose the candidates and effectively the president as well.

Yes, there will be a woman president and she will represent the same ruling elite as have the male presidents. Policy-wise, there will be no discernible difference.

If you are talking about Hilary Clinton, I would say yes. Us women need a little more leadership. In this case, Hilary Clinton is a democrat. Which is a good path for people.

I think so, but I don't think it'll happen anytime soon. It's a shame, because I'd love to see Hillary Clinton in office.

I will this time because Hilary is the best democratic choice. So it depends on the credentials. P.S. And she is very Articulate.
