After all, we all know that he is the spokesman for the oppressed white christians in the world?

out of interest - what do you think would elicit that kind of response:

I'm 6'2", 180lbs, 'off-white' .. I suppose I walk pretty tall with an air of confidence - even though I was in a grungy part of town - I know it well, I may have had a look of disdain as I'm pretty sick of crackhead-junkie-jibber scumbags ruining my city.. but ah - while I may have vigilante tendencies, I'm no cop - kind of a punk (rocker) really ..

I dunno waht does an u/c cop look like?

If you were free before the war and free now. How is it for your freedom? It isn't for Iraqi freedom, we already freed them. The rest is up to them in any case. Propping up a government is no guarantee.

They could blow up 20 buildings and America would still be free. Gandhi conquered a nation with out one rifle. Martin Luther Kind faced the government with not one act of aggression. Yet we feel it's the only way to bomb our "suspected" enemies into submission?

Afghanistan was a direct reaction to 911 and was a measured and appropriate response.

But to actually believe we are fighting for freedom in Iraq, when the outcome either way will not effect freedom is kind of foolish.

I'm asking nice!

I'm not looking for an argument I just want to know in your own words what is the main things that:
1-skeptics dont understand about the religous, and
2- what the religous dont understand about the skeptics
THAT usually gets the argument going.

My input on #2: I would say that the evidence towards Darwinism is strong and that IS NOT an insult to the religous in itself.

They believe that if we raise taxes and just go to work to pay higher taxes that the government will give everything to you, free healthcare, free welfare, free everything. We cant get the things we need on our own despite the fact that it has been working for over 230 years.

They think socialism is different from communism and that having the government nationalize everything and just paying to a centralized fund which si teh government and leave the wealth re-distribution to them.

I've had a lot of trouble at work with co-workers...I seem to get along just fine with my boss and other management people but when it comes to my co-workers (mainly women), I get a lot of animosity and generally "unkind" treatment. I just try to blow it off but it bothers me, of course...even our HR person is treating me funny. I'm almost 5 months pregnant...there are a couple of other people expecting in our department too. Today, she just informed them all about some extra insurance benefits...but she never told me! She is very well aware that I'm pregnant. I knew it wasn't coincidence b/c I was in the area and even passed her by to make sure she saw me...she just smiled and walked on. This is the woman who's supposed to help coordinate my maternity leave!? I'm worried...in case she does something wrong (whether intentionally or not) that will cost me, what are my legal rights? I'll be damned if someones personal feelings toward me causes me problems outside of work.

OK I'm going to keep this simple.

Man Burns fossil fuel, the byproduct of the burning fuel goes into the air. Mankind also deforests 1000s of acres a day (remember trees make oxygen and clean the bad stuff out of the air) and we dump toxic sludge among other things into the ocean.

HOW CAN ANY OF THIS NOT HAVE A NEGATIVE EFFECT.

And please not a single word about natural weather cycles because none of the above mentioned in natural.

Reality is reality, an abolute by itself. Reality needs no defense simply because it's how things are. Reality is fact and the facts are that we, the American people as a majority, do NOT feel this war is justifiable given the reasons (lies) for engagement. A fact is that there is are Americans down in LA that are misplaced and have little to no means of support to sustain their lives. A fact is that Osama bin Laden is richer than all the Bushies and Clintons put together and he has influence in higher places and access to greater resources than our own government. Another fact is that there is no such thing as security in the world anywhere, you could go anytime so what is terror? Terror is when you feed into fear of death which is inevitable for everyone. My question is that why do so many of our fellow Americans conciously choose to create in their minds their own version of reality when reality is independent of our perception?

and that they are playing a stalling game for both sides to achieve a hidden agenda by ignoring the people, what should the American people do?

Is 4-8 years to long for a Presidential term during these crazy days? When you realize that an administration is failing, it is way too late. So you make a change by voting for the other party only to find that they are one and the same, again stuck with madness for another 4-8 years.

What I am trying to say is this: If you are trying to force change but are stuck with the same because of Lobbying and outside influence, how can change be made. The two parties are secretly milking our society and time for the same goals.

What would the American people have done in the early 1800's if they found that their whole political foundation in Washington had been taken over and manipulated at their expense?

If any of the people connected to the Founding Fathers were alive today, what would they think of our political enviroment in Washington today?

I was waiting in a cell at the court after I had already seen the judge and he had refused to release me on personal recognizance. My bail was set at $500. Later a security guard walks around and goes cell by cell asking people for a name and number so he could make the call for bail for you. I was never taken out f the cell so I could talk on the phone. He was the one who made the call supposedly. I think the person being held should be allowed to talk on the phone instead of some guard because what if he never made the call and pretended he did? My friend said she never received such call and as a result no one knew I was there until I was sent to the jail and was able to call from there. If they would have let me make the call or at least dialed the number in front of me and then put the phone to my ear I could have posted bail right there at the court. Was it unconstitutional or a civil rights violation? I think it was and I am going to sue.
