Vast difference if you think in terms of how normal citizens being interrogated by secret services in the UK and America (Secret prisons etc) or by any other parties - compared to how 'BRITISH SOLDIERS' slithering around Iranian borders, maybe looking for trouble and maybe provoking the Iranians.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - With George W. Bush struggling to stay relevant in his final 22 months in the White House, his administration is looking more and more like the incredible shrinking presidency.

fill up your car every week?

If we could stop Iran's nuclear program, stop Global warming, end the funding of terrorists, win the war in Iraq, & never have any other problem in the Mideast, BUT, you would have to give up your gas driven car forever, would you make that sacrifice?

Yeah, I know this has nothing to do with politics but I like to hang out in this section. And, it is Easter after all.

Isolated, and otherwise treated badly? Or do liberals only care about prisoners bent on the destruction of the U.S.?

Last July, I had an accident on the freeway. Freeway traffic stopped, as did I, and I was struck by the driver behind me hard enough to stamp a toyota logo into my bumper, and push me a carlength into the next car in front.. I went to the hospital for back pain, and neck pain, followed by a doctor visit a month later. I have not been able to get back to a doctor since, due to my work schedule, and a job change.
Now, the insurance company of the rear driver wants to settle. They claim they are offering me the $1600 to cover lost work wage, hospital bills and copays, and like only 300 or 400 of it covers pain and suffering.
I personally dont think this is enough. I still have back pain to this day, lingering though it may be. Also, I had the car for only like a month before this happened, and am nowhere near paying it off. They didn't total it, and sent it to a AAA repair facility. I'm sure that if I traded it in, I'd be screwed on the trade-in or even sale of the car...

I'm looking into getting a bond issue passed to improve some of the buildings in the school district in which I work. What public relations techniques would you suggest to help me with this? Unfortunately, I'm not a PR person, but our students need this. Our buildings were built in the 60s and have not been changed or helped since. We need this bond issue, but the community is not very involved in the schools. How can I get the community's attention and get this issue passed? Thank you.

What do I need to do to try to have the local government pass a low requiring scooter riders to have a motorcycle endorsement on their driver's license?

Right now anyone can go out and buy a scooter and drive it on a main road with no experience. There are tons of these in Gainesville (U.F.) and they pose a significant safety hazard. They drive very dangerously. I feel they should have to take the same type of course that I had to take to get my motorcycle endorsement.

Recently, my husband received a speeding ticket. When I looked over the ticket it had the wrong vehicle year, make, and color. The police officer didn't write anything correct about my husband's vehicle. Will this cause the charges to be dropped? We live in Florida and haven't lived here for long, so we're not sure if the rules are differen't here. Thanks!

Britons: Iran bound, threatened captives By TARIQ PANJA, Associated Press Writer
33 minutes ago

ROYAL MARINE BASE CHIVENOR, England - British sailors and marines held for nearly two weeks in Iran were blindfolded, bound and threatened with prison if they did not say they had strayed into Iranian waters, a Royal Navy lieutenant who was among the capitives said Friday.

Lt. Felix Carman, safely home with his 14 colleagues, said the crew faced harsh interrogation by their Iranian captors and slept in stone cells on piles of blankets. Unable to see and kept isolated, they heard weapons cocking.

"We were blindfolded, our hands were bound and we were forced up against a wall. Throughout our ordeal we faced constant psychological pressure," Carman said. "All of us were kept in isolation. We were interrogated most nights and presented with two options. If we admitted that we'd strayed, we'd be on a plane to (Britain) pretty soon. If we didn't, we faced up to seven years in prison."
