"Faulty US intelligence is anything but intelligent "
from the Christian Science Monitor, Daniel Shorr

http://news.yahoo.com/s/csm/20070309/cm_csm/yschorr09x_1

...................................................................................................
..... Vice President Dick Cheney says that while there are no plans to invade Iran, "All options are still on the table."

Of course, the administration will be looking at the latest National Intelligence Estimate before making any drastic move."

Ya, they'll look at it, all right, then decide it's wrong and bomb Iran, which is what they're just itching to do. Like Bush says, sometimes Money trumps Peace.

I think we can conclude that someone powerful has a lot invested in this War on Terror, ad infitum And we, the American People, are like a herd of elephants being led by a pack of fleas to a big hamstringing session where all civil rights will be suspended for " National Security" reasons.

Rudy has more credentials and success stories than any Democrat or Republican. For example, in New York as mayor Crime went extremely down. Even before that he has an extensive history in many different Goverment positions.

At my husbands job, the company has asked the employees to order new uniform shirts at no cost to them. But when it came time for the men to pick up the t-shirts, they were told that they had to pay $60 for the once free shirts! That's $60 for only 3 t-shirts with the name of the company at the back. No special design or material. That price is excessive! But they were told that they had to buy the shirts or be fired.

A friend of ours told him to get an itemized receipt--and not one the secretary typed up! We were told we could use the receipt for tax purposes and personal knowledge and proof that the company is not cheating him.
What's more is that they want cash and not to take it out of their checks.

This is the same company that ended paying for overtime, ended offering benefits, ended giving raises, and on the payday told the men that they wouldn't be paid for a whole nother week! All of the changes were very sudden. They received no warning for anything.

True RedsStaters use way more oil and gas than Blues.

Proof that RedsStaters are working to help the economy by using more OIL.

Blues try to conserve which hurts the economy and does not support the Troops in Iraq.

Blues like clean air which hurts the HMO industry.

Blues like to save money which hurts the American credit card business. And does not support the war on terror.

I mean if ther's some money left over; can they keep it or must they do something else with the leftover money? I assume at least the will have to pay taxes on it, if they are allowed to keep the money.

Before you answer my question keep in mind, The president of Iran is a holocaust denier, Iran has called for the destruction of Israel a numerous amount of times, Iran is arming the Insurgents in Iraq so they can KILL American troops, and last the U.S. Navy has maintained a presence in the Persian Gulf for the last 2 decades for a couple of reasons-the most important reason being is that the U.S. Navy keeps the waters of the Persian Gulf peaceful so that Merchant ships can sail to their destination freely. If Iran gets Nuclear Weapons then we will have to pull our Navy ships out of the Gulf for fear of an Iranian Nuke strike that could kill thousands of sailors.

I am a liberal that is saddened by the state of political affairs in the great state of Hawaii. Please read on. The polorization is based on race, and, the worst type of racial distrust and hatred.

It is based on a vacuous myth that white Americans "took over" the islands in the late 19th century. This is utterly false.

Hawaii was a sovereign nation ruled by a monarch and parliamentary system until 1895 or so. Queen Lilialukilani wished to overthrow the constitution and strip the parliament of power which Hawaii had abided by for maybe forty years, her cabinet of five leaders resigned (all Hawaiians), and, an overthrow of her government, BY HER OWN PEOPLE ensued. The American government did not participate in the insurrection on any level.

Hawaii's Senator Innueye has stated his opinion that these divisions could lead to violence, and, a seperatist movement calling for Hawaii no longer being a state of the U.S. now. This would only serve harm to the Hawaiian people.

I'm not gonna discuss whether Iran had the right to capture British sailors or not, since the border was disputed and as many believed it gave t space for both countries to claim that what they had done / said was right. What I wanna discuss is that why is it that 5 Iranian diplomats kidnapped by the U.S in Iraq (and one kidnapped in Turkey) are not considered as important as the British sailors?why is it that no one investigates to see if they're tortured but when it comes to British sailors they claimed they might have been tortured while they were not?the British sailors say we faced a crew with guns pointing at us. Did they expect flowers or even a pat on the back?what would the U.S or other countries do if they captured foriegners in their teritorial waters?(this could be right or wrong since the border was disputed) I'm sure if this had happened in another country's waters, the captives would be tortured, imprisoned and wouldn't be released so easily.(take Iranian diplomats for example) while the worst thing Iran's done to the captives was seperating the female sailor from the rest of the crew and then nothing.Iranians are kind people.why is it that the news talk about the sailors being blindfolded, but doesn't talk as much about the gifts they were given or how they were really treated. They just say "the past two weeks have been difficult", but they refuse to give any further information about how they were treated.(why? because it may give Iran publicity or credit?)yes, it'd be difficult for me if I were captured and were away from my family, but that doesn't mean that I'm hurt, tortured or......How can people / the media be so injustice and prejudice when it comes to Iran?Any answers relating other topics such as nuclear program will be ignored.Focus on the question itself.
