Isnt that part of the reason WHY the Republicans are embarassed by the Bush Administration and are in a panic over their (lack of) chances in 2008?

If one can think independently and honestly, then they should not believe in Bush's nutty fundamentalism.

You do not have to believe anything you do not want to believe. Belief does not change what is or is not true. If you think Republicans are embarrassed by Bush you are greatly mistaken. Some of the politicians are embarrassed but over 75% of the Republican party supports the Bush Administration.
