im writing a paper on bush's faith based initiatives policy. while the way the president has implemented this program is less than ideal, im still not sure if giving money for faith-based organizations to help the community in a secular manner is a good idea or not. im hesitant because i think when deciding what religious group to give money to, bias might result in giving the money to a person's religion, or ignoring some religions altogether making them seem illegitimate. also, i am concerned with people like jim jones or david koresh being given funds.

I moved to Alabama in early 70 and they weren't very "integrated" back then. Being from California made me a Yankee and ethnically I didn't meet their baseline for white.

Therefore I used the Colored bathrooms, drinking facets and some store I just waited outside. I was 10, didn't understand it because I didn't live in a place like that.

But I come on here and the slander is still the same only the faces have changed. Now we put a crime "Illegal Alien" and attached it to a race. Now a new form of the same game is back.

What makes the racesist feel so entitled? My family came here from Sicily back in 1910. I'm a third generation American. I feel no ownership other than to defend the nation against enemies.

So what if they cost money, so what they go to schools. Isn't that the dream? Wasn't that the shining light that made us great?

I agree we should tighten ALL borders. But if you are here and working, your an American.

We are not here forever, we can't take it with us.

Psycho host. Why does he have to yell at all of his guests? What's the point of having guests in his show in the first place if he want them to agree with him all the time?

I've read a few things here and there and am still a bit confused about the whole process. So many form names and businessy terms. From what I know he needs a sponsor of some sort? Or an employer as a base to him staying here. Well, I'm neither but I'd still like to see him reside here. He'd like to go to work, then finally be able to get his own place and go to college. He's not married and the only attachments he has are his immediate family (mother, sister, etc) who aren't planning on leaving the country.

I need help in planning if he's to fly into the country and stay with me for a while. What do we do next?

During the 1990 gov campaign in Arkansas, Bill Clintons campaign opposed so-called "right to work" legislation being pushed by Sam Walton and upon reelection flip-flopped to sign the same legislation which has held Arkansas poverty rate to the highest in the country while also being HQ to Wal-Mart itself. In repayment Sam appointed Hillary to the WMT board of directors . Hillary then made some of the first attempts to sell the globalist logic of why free and slave should be equally cheap in wages to the press.

The government has made billions in tax revenue from the sale of cigarettes. Now many of us are addicted and have tried repeatedly to quit. They continue to tax cigarettes like crazy and ban smoking in many places.

In Iowa, the cigarette tax just went up $1.00 and it costs $4.85 for a pack of Marlboros.

Should we sue the government from profiting from our deadly addiction for so many years and then making it almost impossible to continue smoking? If so, on what grounds could we sue?

What if all the poor citizens of Mexico march to Mexico City and demand the nation of Mexico to give them welfare, give them food stamps, give them free housing, and free medical care, and jobs? Mexico Slim can pay some taxes out of his billions to start the whole thing off. That way Mexicans won't have to flood across the border illegally to get all that stuff here in the USA. It's time for Mexico to get off it's lazy butt and take care of it's own citizens down in Mexico isn't it?

"Most German universities are state-owned and until recently did not charge for tuition; a 2006 education reform measure calls for fees of around €500 per semester from each student"

How does Germany afford to pay University tuition for every student!?!?! Don't they have anything else to pay for? Or are their taxes outrageously high?

Okay, this is going to be a strange question, and I know it's not the smartest or the most productive thing to do.. just humor me here:

Is there anything illegal involved in following a police car around the city? Suppose you're bored, or just doing a documentary, or supposedly practicing your right as a citizen to just drive on a public road or keep an eye on the authorities (make up a reason). Can a police officer legally order a citizen to not follow his patrol vehicle around town?
