I've read a few things here and there and am still a bit confused about the whole process. So many form names and businessy terms. From what I know he needs a sponsor of some sort? Or an employer as a base to him staying here. Well, I'm neither but I'd still like to see him reside here. He'd like to go to work, then finally be able to get his own place and go to college. He's not married and the only attachments he has are his immediate family (mother, sister, etc) who aren't planning on leaving the country.

I need help in planning if he's to fly into the country and stay with me for a while. What do we do next?

Honestly, if my country would be like Canada I would never go to the US.

For what ?? to live among arrogant people who think they own the whole freaking world !!

Honestly, I think your friend would be better off where he/she is, the US is not the place to be anymore. Many Americans are considering moving to Canada

Call your local court house! They could tell you. I really have no idea, but I'm touched by your post.

Goodluck!
