hey i was just wondering about this question..

What is the fewest number of states with their electoral votes necessary to win the electoral college?

Actually it is more then the previous poster told you . Here is the website that lists states by electoral vote and how it went in 2006.

You can calculate yourself but it is definitely more ... Ohio, PA, NJ, GA .... (in addition to CA, NY, TX ..)

Yeah, I bet you were "wondering that".

More like you have to answer that for some homework assignment. Nobody in their right mind gives a rat's rear on electoral votes in electoral college crap.

You need five states: California, Texas, Florida, New York, and I think Illinois. If you win those five states, you don't need any others.
