... while the democrats may not do as much as they should, they seem to do a lot more than the Republicans... like working on the minimum wage, which helps a lot of monority voters...
so, as often in politcs, it's choosing between the lesser of two evils...

Democrats don't forget about their Socialist Base.
They just have NO RESPECT for what they consider the dregs of society.
Those who constantly live with their hand out looking for free gifts from the producers in society ALWAYS vote Democrat.
Knowing this, the Democrats court their vote because they KNOW it is the ONLY way they can get elected.
The Dems are also smart enough to know those voters are NOT the productive members of society.
Once in office they have NO USE for them until next election.
The Democrats have NO INTENTION of doing anything for them except KEEPING them in their low level positions as a cheap source of labor.
The solution for the situation is to STOP THE FREE HANDOUTS. Give them a REAL education, not the kind of Socialist modified view of history and society taught in their overpriced, USELESS school system.
Encourage them to perform jobs that are above the level of the type of work that can be done by robots and progress toward a real life where they can participate in a truly intellectual society.
The Democrats think they are the intellectuals, but they are just suppressing true intelligence in favor of making themselves LOOK like they are the bright ones.

Because like many other things, democrats couldn't care any less about who voted for them or why once they're elected. For example.....
* What ever happened to the stem cell issue?
(nobody brings this up anymore)
* What ever happened to the Katrina issue?
(only useful when campaigning)
* What ever happened to universal health care?
(again, only useful when campaigning)
* What ever happened to the cut & run from Iraq issue?
(they won by insisting on pulling out, now a time table???)
Democrats will SAY just about anything to gain your vote based on what's popular today. Once they get into office however, it's a completely different story as we're all wittnessing today!
