Vast difference if you think in terms of how normal citizens being interrogated by secret services in the UK and America (Secret prisons etc) or by any other parties - compared to how 'BRITISH SOLDIERS' slithering around Iranian borders, maybe looking for trouble and maybe provoking the Iranians.

I am not sure where you have gotten your info but I would check the source again. On today's news was the interview
of the British crew after being released. The story is completely different not that they aren't under threat of spending 7 years in jail. Iran was out to make a statement and then look lile the hero when they let them go. The group was not treated with any dignity at all.

You say normal citizen. While I cannot absolutely say for sure that this has never happened it just sounds like you are pi@@ed at our Government for something. I can tell you for a fact (I personally witnessed) that some political detainees/prisoners have been taken and shot as their interrogation process.
Don't get me wrong, I am not for the war, I want it to end. I do believe that we got into this over a bunch of lies from Bush.
But, I am in full support of our troops, I am in full support of the US. I have fought and risked my life defending your ability to have free speech. There are a lot of cases that I personally don't support, such as yours, or flag burning, but it is part of our constitution that I support.

What have you done that gives you the right to that free speech?

Iran knew they had better treat the 15 sailors with dignity. The British did nothing wrong. Piss poor comparison. There is a serious reason , why terrorists are treated the way they are. Britain has not committed horrible crimes , like the terrorists have.

They said they were blindfolded, seperated (isolated from the others) and told what to say in front of the camera. What you don't understand is Iran just committed an act of war and Britain didn't do anything. It shows exactly how much we can rely on Europe when we WILL have to face off with nuts like this. Those soldiers were not in Iranian waters...no one is dumb enough to believe that. We don't capture people just because to gain propaganda.

Europe needs to cut of their ties to Iran and let Iran kill itself. If countries stop buying it's oil, they will no longer have money. The majority of the people are already against their president. Kill their government through taking away their money, and allow a better government to take over. We neever even have to invade. But try to get the sissy EU to do anything...

i'm no longer for the Iraq occupation, yet to assert that Iran receives my respect because they released hostages? Hostages are released for all time all over the world. What makes Iran so particular. I respect the Iranian clergy earlier Ahmadinejad. he's a nutcase.

How do you know that? Were you there with the British soldiers? Were you? No you weren't, they could of beaten them up. They could of been threatened. So much could of happened. I doubt Blair would release such information to the public.

Wow this is proof that media influence wins over common sense.

And by the way there is a difference between soliders and terrorists.

Well, you are a least one person affected by it, just like the Iranian propagandist wanted.

They are trying to develop a nuclear program. Do you think it would help their cause if they beheaded those Britons? They are trying to get people to back off of them so the can continue their uranium enrichment. Letting the Britons go makes them seem reasonable.

Now there are people like you sympathizing with terrorist because of it.
