As soon as GWB gives me a decent description of what he believes "victory" looks like and a detailed plan to achieve it.

Nobody asks what the ultimate goal is supposed to be. Exactly what are the conditions that will be in place for him to declare "victory".

Should we not be seeking "peace" instead of victory? Is it not because we want some nebulous sense of victory that we can never achieve true peace?

Victory does not equal peace. It never has and it never will.

Because we already know that Bush doesn't have the first clue about how to get there. This war has been sadly mismanaged by an incompetent and arrogant President. In order to follow someone to victory they have to have a viable plan to achieve victory. That does NOT describe our President.

Because GWB is not leading anybody to victory.

If he only had a plan for victory, then maybe everyone would join in. But he doesn't so let's put an end to the draining of the US treasury.

I can't speak for everyone, but apart from the fact that he was appointed to his position by five supreme court justices against the will of the U.S. citizens, I haven't heard an intelligible reason for his invasion of Iraq, nor a clear definition of victory yet.

Unless you're talking about a GWB I've never heard of, I have no idea what you mean by victory.

If Pelosi continues to run congress the way she is, more will back our President. She is going to lose ground with the middle of the road people who actually determine elections. Not the people who are on the right or left of the aisle already.

I'll celebrate when my government cheese gets here.

P.S. can I hold my head up proudly now? or will someone still call me a lazy welfare cheating unpatriotic atheist?
