I'm planning to go to Hernando, Florida in September to visit my bf, i was born here and i have dual citizenship in both the UK and Ireland and i have an Irish passport. As far as i can remember a UK citizen can stay in the USA for 90days without a visa (on like a holiday, not allowed to work and must have enough money to support themselves). Does this still apply if my passport is Irish, even though i qualify for UK citizenship?

Also in the September of 2008, going to college or immigrating to Florida may be a possibility, what would i need to qualify for a student visa?
And if i decide to immigrate can i still move back and forth between there and here and retain my EU citizenship?
What would the procedures and qualifications for immigration be to move to there from here?

Any advice appreciated, thanks =)

[I'm 18 now -19 in April- and currently in full time education studying A Levels, if that info is any use]

As the consensus amongst Brits is that we think Bush is a bit of a waste of space but has Blair by the cojones, leading to the nickname of 'Bush's Poodle'.

What is your view of OUR leader?
I think he is vain, insincere and obsessive.

200 years after the British started the process of ending the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade, why haven't we started the process of Reparations? After all, America and Europe benefited and continue to benefit from the shameful act of slave trading.

Why did Germany pay reparations to Europe and the Jews if it is such a bad thing.
Why did the USA pay the Japanese reparations for imprisoning them during WWII.
Why do a few continue to benefit from the pain of others?

I realize the chances of impeachment occurring are extraordinarily slim, but the thought of Cheney ever being president is terrifying. :-P

I see many benefits of internet elections:

1. Hugely cost effective.
2. Fast in conducting and response.
3. Widespread participation (Indians throughout the nation and word can take part)
4. Great improvement in democracy

India being a great democracy and software/IT powerhouse:

Will internet elections be good for India?
If yes when can India have her first internet election?

A cop gave me a ticket the other day....but I lost it, before I ever really even looked at what he gave me. He told me I'm supposed to show up somewhere, and that all the info is on the ticket. But now I have no idea when I'm supposed to go anywhere, or how much the ticket would be or anything.

I've been searching online, but I really don't have any idea who to contact to figure this out. The last thing I want is to not show up at some kind of court date, then have a warrant out for my arrest or something....so i definitely want to get this handled as quickly as possible.

Sold a 1990 Ford Ranger told them the overdrive didn't work in the transmission. 2 weeks later got a letter from a lawyer saying I didn't tell her about the overdrive and it was a good running vehicle. She drove this truck to work and I asked her how she liked it and she said she didn't know yet she had only driven home then to work. Now 2 weeks later I received this. I live in Michigan and I need to know what my chances would be if taken to court. Also she said I could give $1500.00 to her to fix it. I was hoping it could just be a sensor or something cheap to fix . So instead of fixing it I sold it , under $1000.00 thinking if they fix it they would have a pretty good truck it only has 114,000 miles and the inside and outside are decent. What should I do Help Please!!!

I think so, because they only seem to say, the troops that die IN IRAQ. That doesn't seem to account for the troops that have died from things like mortally inflicted wounds after hospital care, or suicide. I can't seem to find any official numbers please help.

With the growing trend of "pocket" dogs, I have noticed an alarming number of people bringing these animals into restaurants in their purses. It's bad enough when you travel to Europe but do we have to put up with it here? From a health standpoint, is this legal or are the restaurant owners in violation of any health codes? I am not an animal hater. In fact I have two dogs myself - whom I leave at home when I go out to eat. But quite frankly, eating in an establishment that turns a blind eye to customers bringing in their pets grosses me out. I know that I'll probably offend a lot of people with this post but I think that I, a US citizen who votes and pays taxes should be afforded a teeny bit more respect and rights than a dog. Is there any legal code that I can qoute to the manager to have the pet removed?
