It seems that they are trying to defuse assertions that Bush lied us into war by repeating Democratic accusations against Saddamn from the 1990's, but all this does is paint them as having told the same lies Bush told, doesn't it?

Do you get off the hook for just being a repeater of lies? Do enough repetitions really make lies true? If enough people of "both" parties believe it's true, does that mean it's not a lie after all when the evidence finally comes in?

I say the ALL lied, except for the great number who were ignored.

By MANSOOR IJAZ
President Clinton and his national security team ignored several opportunities to capture Osama bin Laden and his terrorist associates, including one as late as last year.

I know because I negotiated more than one of the opportunities.

From 1996 to 1998, I opened unofficial channels between Sudan and the Clinton administration. I met with officials in both countries, including Clinton, U.S. National Security Advisor Samuel R. "Sandy" Berger and Sudan's president and intelligence chief. President Omar Hassan Ahmed Bashir, who wanted terrorism sanctions against Sudan lifted, offered the arrest and extradition of Bin Laden and detailed intelligence data about the global networks constructed by Egypt's Islamic Jihad, Iran's Hezbollah and the Palestinian Hamas.

Among those in the networks were the two hijackers who piloted commercial airliners into the World Trade Center.

The silence of the Clinton administration in responding to these offers was deafening.

Not every republican agrees with the values of the far right, why do people not understand that? Because I am a republican I am a bigot? Who made these rules?

Why is it that if you are a republican, then you must be a bible-thumping hate filled person.

Does the far left really think we are incapable of independant thought?

How many immigrans is enough and why would you say so?
Should a country take the poor of the world in until it becomes destitute and failed itself? When is enough ...enough?

The democrats always say they want better fuel efficienty and President Bush's offical position is that he does too. Why doesn't the democratically controlled congress write up a bill and pass it with only that that in it? This would help a lot of things such as energy conservation, pollution, global warming, energy independence and would help offset the rising cost of gasoline for consumers as the years go by and the price climbs. Does anyone have any reason not to pass a law that would do that, increase fuel efficienty 4% a year? I know the auto companies would belly ache about how difficult it would be but I think it would help spur inovation in the auto industry which I believe would reinvigourate it.

I just found out that my brother, who has been divorced twice is marrying a (somewhat younger, and more attractive women who has never been married before) from Ukraine where he currently works. He doesn't not speak Ukrainian, but she speaks passable English. They already live together and we are planning a small wedding for them here in New Hampshire. I was very suprised to hear some of our long term family friends and some distant relatives jokingly refer to his future wife as a mail order bride. Do you think a lot of people would perceive the situation that way? Maybe I'm being naive, but the thought didn't even cross my mind.

Former Military Officer Comes out for 9/11 Truth
9/11 Blogger
Friday, March 23, 2007

Patriots Question 9/11 has a brand new entry on a former air defense expert and expert on jet turbines. His statements about the lack of interception of the hijacked jets is important. His bio for the 2006 primary for Oregon's 2nd District congressional race is here (page 12)

I take no position on what crashed at the Pentagon, and it is possible that Captain Davis has simply not seen all of the relevant photographs.

Capt. Daniel Davis, U.S. Army – Former U.S. Army Air Defense Officer and NORAD Tac Director. Decorated with the Bronze Star and the Soldiers Medal for bravery under fire and the Purple Heart for injuries sustained in Viet Nam. Also served in the Army Air Defense Command as Nike Missile Battery Control Officer for the Chicago-Milwaukee Defense Area. Founder and former CEO of Turbine Technology Services Corp., a turbine (jet engine) services and maintenance company (15 years). Former Senior Manager at General Electric Turbine (jet) Engine Division (15 years). Private pilot.

* Statement to this website 3/23/07:

"As a former General Electric Turbine engineering specialist and manager and then CEO of a turbine engineering company, I can guarantee that none of the high tech, high temperature alloy engines on any of the four planes that crashed on 9/11 would be completely destroyed, burned, shattered or melted in any crash or fire. Wrecked, yes, but not destroyed. Where are all of those engines, particularly at the Pentagon? If jet powered aircraft crashed on 9/11, those engines, plus wings and tail assembly, would be there.

Additionally, in my experience as an officer in NORAD as a Tactical Director for the Chicago-Milwaukee Air Defense and as a current private pilot, there is no way that an aircraft on instrument flight plans (all commercial flights are IFR) would not be intercepted when they deviate from their flight plan, turn off their transponders, or stop communication with Air Traffic Control. No way! With very bad luck, perhaps one could slip by, but no there's no way all four of them could!

Finally, going over the hill and highway and crashing into the Pentagon right at the wall/ground interface is nearly impossible for even a small slow single engine airplane and no way for a 757. Maybe the best pilot in the world could accomplish that but not these unskilled "terrorists".

Attempts to obscure facts by calling them a "Conspiracy Theory" does not change the truth. It seems, "Something is rotten in the State."

Bush wants the U.S. Marine Corp, to be sensitive, and to have compassion in a war zone.
No longer will the world fear the U.S. Marines, they will now laugh at them.
Thank you BUSH, for making the U.S. Military a laughing stock
of the world.
What a sorry *** president we have.
Next question, Will Bush surrender to Iran ?
[ or ]

I was driving home from the movies yesterday around 4am in the morning. Since there were no cars around in the freeway I drove around 80-85mph when all of a sudden I saw red lights behind me. I've never been pulled over in my life and I've had my license for almost 10 months. The officer asked how fast I was going and I just said "i'm guessing around 80mph." He said speed limit was 65 and he wrote me a citation of 80mph.

Is there anything i should be concerned about? And what do i have to do after i get a speeding ticket for the first time?

Thanks all..
