I have a card that says I'm a republican, although I would prefer to call myself a conservative as I think both major parties have moved away from their base. I think both have people who are dedicated to improving this country, but because of party lines they are expected to vote as they are told. If we do that, we can never expect changes in this country.

Neither. I'm a Communist, and I'm not American. I'd rather the Democrats won, though, as they do slightly more for the poor of the world, and that's my primary concern. Politically, I'm in opposition to both parties.
