okay..I know what the warsaw ghetto was but can someone please give me some information and details about what was happening in it and during the uprising...

One thing that sticks in my mind about the Warsaw Ghetto was how the Red Army stopped just short of the city while the uprising was taking place. If they would've proceeded, the uprising would have succeeded. As it was, the German SS were able to put it down and execute thousands. The result was the Soviets had fewer Poles to deal with and there was less of a national autonomy, making it easier to take over the country....that dirty b**stard Stalin anyway
