You know that there has been cloning here in the US, right? Well, I think that someone tried to clone Dubya, and the machine went awry. This is how Tony Blair came to be. He's the British Brother from another mother.

Let me put it this way; if Tony Blair ran for President of the United States - I would vote for him.
In fact - I think we should change the law that prohibits us from voting for foreigners for president.
PS. Tony Blair is not " Bush's Poodle" and is not viewed as such in America. We think Tony Blair is a strong leader and the British people should be proud to have him. Dont buy into the bull **** spewed by the BBC and the Guardian and their ilk.

As I understand it, Blair is a member of your "liberal" party, while Bush heads our "Conservative" party.
There is no reason for Blair to submit, poodle-like to the whims of a person with whom he has fundamental ideological differences.
So this means (to me) that Bush is Not a dullard.
AND
Blair agrees with him on Iraq based on his own evaluation and reasoning.
We don't care is he's vain, insincere or obsessive--those are required for a successful political career.

Since I have spent 4 months in the UK as an American tourist I realise that the people of the UK seam to think that Bush is a pile of crap all around. It is easy to point the finger at a scapegoat for the total administration. I would suggest that it is also easy for you to do that with your own leader simply because you are not in the same political party or do not share the same views. I realise that you did not want to send troops in to help however now that you are laying in the same bed as we are maybe you should follow through.
I know that my 'strong' opinion will not win me any popularity contests however you are in the same bed with our administration now and should probably follow through due to the fact that you will be the only other country to reap the oil benefits of the war that is making Americans no longer have teeth to eat their food with since no one will help pay for out dental care.

I think he's a brave gentleman for sticking to his beliefs in the face of a propaganda attack that will possibly destroy his career. But, I don't agree with everything Blair does , I hunt and Fish, said enough!! When it comes to Iraq,,,,,,,,,
HISTORY WILL SUPPORT MR. BLAIR.
AS WILL PRESIDENT BUSH.
People had just as much if not more discrepancy with WWII,
Churchill was called worse than Bush or Blair have.
Even after Pearl harbor we had anti war propaganda spread ramped.
That's how a weaker enemy wins , by infiltration, propaganda, and supporting protesters. Russia has admitted to spending 300 Billion dollars ,US equivalent, to anti Vietnam protest and propaganda campaigns in the US alone.
The worse part is we finally have a chance to make a difference in the middle east and it could be ruined by premature pullout.
Check this out. Politicians aren't what they always seem.

The Treaty of Tripoli, in 1796, grew to become into reviewed with the help of George Washington, signed with the help of John Adams and ratified with the help of the excellent Congress stated in paragraph 12, "because of fact the government of america isn't, in any sense, based on the Christian faith." Please do no longer confuse the recommendations of the founders to the activities that have transpired while they have been long previous. The founders have been especially deists with some atheists sprinkled around. They knew the hazards of incorporating faith into the government. I certainly have no longer something against a infant-kisser that believes in a god, yet he extra ideal no longer attempt to stress that concept on the folk. in basic terms 7% of the colonists in 1776 attended a church, so do no longer assume what those human beings meant. i comprehend Christians on right here latch on the using author interior the assertion of Independence, yet Jefferson's author grew to become into no longer the god maximum Christians think of of. He believed in an maximum suitable author that had no longer something to do with on an regularly occurring basis life.

My impression is that if he had kept his commitment to Gordon Brown and bowed out to allow Brown to succeed him at #10 Downing, prior to Bush drawing him into Iraq, history would have treated him far more kindly that it will now.

I have the same view. While I like Tony Blaire, even though I have to admit, I haven't studied his policies closely, he does seem to be at Bush's beck and call. I can't say I blame Tony. Bush has a way of making people do his bidding. I'm sure Bush was ticked when Tony called his troops home.
