Hot, usually. There's a kind of camaraderie that develops within units, but they miss home. They always miss home.

For gound poeple they always have to be alerted for road side bombs or ambushes. Shoot or be shot is what is always going on for the ground poeple. The Navy im not sure. The Airforce bombs any bases or transports poeple.

well you miss home, family, friends, pets, tv, good food, stuff like that. living conditions vary for each unit and areas here but overall its better than i expected. now with that being said, i lead a simple life so i can do without alot of things others wouldn't dare be without and i like camping so its a long camping trip for me....
