Well honestly, yes I do seeing that our Union of a country is not that tight. We got spys and terrorists living here. What choice do they have, The States are about as united as two opposite poles on a magnet. And also its kinda hard to tell hardheaded people anything anyway, thats my opinion, whats yours?

When is it justified for us to use our Military? And when we do decide to use it, when is it justified to change our minds? Should we have a formula that is unambiguous to the rest of the world, that says if you do this, then the US will go to war?

bush's whole presidency has been defined by war, after 911 everyone was ready to get the job done, but four years later everyone is ready to back out. if we decide to go to war, we cant go to war till everyone is ready to pull out, we need to stay till the job is done.

Hi. Me and my wife wish to move to the US to live, i am from the UK, and she is Romanian.

We understand much of the rules and regs, and will be coming with finance anyway.

What is hard to understand is; can people come with their own finance, with intention of starting their own business later?

And, does the government place people, or do they choose in what state they wish to reside?

I think invasion of Iraq wa totally illegal,and while the whole world protested dictator Bush started the killing anyways,even though no weapons of mass destruction were ever found.... How would FDR have responded if during WWII, The Republicans were saying that this war has gone on too long, 6,000 Americans deaths per month is too many, and the cost is too high? And on top of this, put forth a bill to cut funding for the war and or a time limit? Rmember, he's the President that put American citizens in internment camps because they were of Japaness ancestry.

Generally, most people consider Iran a threat to many in that it seems to be pursuing nuclear ambitions, and also more proved its true color by capturing the British military folks.
Its president is a wingnut, its people are brainwashed, and lastly, the grand daddy Khemenni is authorizing money and hardware to be provided to insurgence in Iraq.
Why should we not engage them? The EU is already to a boil point, Israel has been at a boil point...is this the war we should have been fighting instead of Iraq?

A friend wants to join the police department, next year sometime. He's not a habitual smoker but he smoked with me the other day, not to mention his drug use after high school.

I know they take a polygraph, but I don't want his chances hurt because of light pot smoking. This close to applying especially.

I was having lunch at a Chipotle recently when a couple of cops came in. One of them was about 5'2", clearly on roids and had that roid rage look like he was gonna roll some heads if they didn't get the hot sauce on his burrito just right. Just an extreme case of short man complex or a common attribute among cops everywhere?

A letter arrived through my letterbox courtesy of my mail man. He had been given the envelope via another mail man. The envelope had been opened - presumedly read? by the second mail man and the front written on [ not very nice = abusive and threatening] I complained to the Royal Mail.
The letter had my name but the second mail man's address on.
I received a letter from Royal Mail stating among other things, it is a criminal offense to use someone else's address for Capital Gain and to please refrain from doing so.
I was floored to put it mildly. The letter/envelope in question was from my younger son's School informing me that he was late for School and consequently had after School detention. The envelope was water marked with the School Emblem on and had the name of the School on the front. How on earth is this capital gain?
Can someone please tell me what my options are. This is totally uncalled for - unprovoked and just plain nasty.

Shequanda Cotton was sentenced to seven years until she turns to 21 for pushing a door attendent over a dispute on entering the school to early, she is black and the attendent is white. The same judge who sentenced Shequanda, previously senteced a 14 year old white girl to probation for arson of her parents house. Please help Shequanda and check out www.freeshequandacotton.com and send a letter to the Governor of Texas Rick Perry. Bring this injustice to his attention so this type of thing will not happen to any other child.
