I just don't get it. Gas prices are ridiculous. In the 70's, there was a gas crisis and the government and car manufacturers responded by making "economy cars" like the Pacer (yeah it was ugly but it got great gas milage). Why aren't we doing that now? And why it is that the car commercials are for big heavy duty trucks?! If we made non-gas powered vehicles, wouldnt that lower the demand for gasoline: consumer power is much more effective than gun power, isn't it?

Both are extremely incompetent. I would trust a CD-ROM government over them.
Just plug it in. It won't take bribes or cash under the table like Boxer and Issa gets. 2 examples sorry of many. I am not gonna write all their names down.
REMOVE THE 2 PARTY SYSTEM NOW !!!

It's only right that he should. Bush and his staff are probably the one's who recommended that he fire them. He was only the hatchet man. He should have tried to be his own man, but that could have been one of the conditions for his appointment. We need to remember that these cabinet positions are very coveted by most politicians.

How is an apology going to justify those who had relatives that were slaves and were brutally tortured? I don't even think reparations can do justice for the cruelties of slavery.

pivate, doing some brig time, and getting kicked out of the Corps. this wasnt in my platoon but in another, my senior drill instructor called me a disgrace to the marine corps. this tag followed me trhoughout my whole enlistment which i think should have been kept private. i wonder if i could take some legal action. well anyway, i was wondering is getting an abusive drill instructor out of the drill field considered a "disgrace"? even a "disgrace" to the marine corps? every unit i went to i wasnt trusted

freedoms, liberties, rights, and a separation of powers in the government. So why do some liberals want a re-distribution of wealth? Where is my liberty to make what i want? Are these liberals a genetic mutation of the classical liberal?

O'Reilly and Hannity are undoubtedly Bush's loudest talking heads.

But if you watched the last couple of weeks Bill has stepped away from full support in regard to illegal immigration and he even said that he knows the Dems are pulling a political punch investigating Gonzales and the prosecutors situation.....but he also said that if there was indeed questionable procedures going on in the justice department it should be investigated!!

This is a good sign!

No one should ever give gov. officials free reign and unchecked powers!

I'm glad to see that even Bush's most staunch supporters can sometimes agree that wrong is wrong!

Saying Chamberlaine, "the great appeaser", was a CONSERVATIVE is a FACT.

Saying Churchill never said the proceeding quote is a FACT.

"If you're a conservative at 25 you have no heart. If you're a liberal at 35 you have no brain."???

He was in fact a member of the Conservative Party at 25 and a member of the Liberal Party at 35.
http://www.winstonchurchill.org/i4a/page...

THESE ARE FACTS PEOPLE.

Saying FDR is nothing like today's Democrats is an opinion. FDR is an epitome of what a liberal is. The guy drastically increased the number of social programs to help Americans get back to work. He was the one who created Social Security and he was the one who made it alot easier for unions to organize. Google "alphabet programs" for a list of the programs he created. He even had tax rates of 90%!!! on the ultra-wealthy. He also proposed a 100% tax on income over 25K a year (300,000 in today's dollars).

If anything FDR was MORE socialist then today's Dems.

I would think Bill Clinton out of ANYONE should be careful on his comments about the Iraq war and his wife's vote in 2002 for the war. After all he created Chalibi and Sadaam and knew there weren’t any WMDs when Mrs. Bill Clinton voted in 2002.

Is this another way of them trying to defend their mis-step with the middle east crisis while Bill was getting his infamous wack job?

If it were made better, if all the corruption or at least most of the corruption were eliminated, people wouldn't need to cross your precious border. It's obviously not easy and not every single Mexican is cut out to be a revolutionary. How do you think it could be improved?
